Stayed here for one night. A lovely place in the middle of nowhere. Can be hard to find but persevere and you will not be disappointed. Very friendly owners and you have breakfast in their own home with other guests around a table. Be prepared and brush up on your French. Also met this friend in the pitch black. Do...

This rustic B&B is set in vineyards with views of Carcassonne Cite. If you are looking for an up market residence then this isn't for you. Instead you get a charming farm based B&B. Our double room was very clean and there was a useful fridge. Breakfast was served in the main house, with all the guests seated around the...

From the moment I arrived, rather late at night and after a 32 hour trip rather hot and bothered, Genevieve and Henri met me at the station with large smiles of welcome. After being shown to my lovely little suite - complete with a wine fridge (only one other place offered this and it was mid summer 30-40 degrees -...

Very hospitable owners and well equipped comfortable Git. Great breakfast. Hard to find even with GPS. Near the old city but the 3Km walk through vineyards to Carcassonne in 36degrees C was not fun - we should have taken the car and parked closer. Swimming pool area untidy/unsafe (electrical lead running across shower area). Pool and area needed cleaning.

We stayed here for a couple of nights to explore Carcassonne. They have individual chalet style apartments close to the central farmhouse. Comfortable and a short drive to Carcassonne. Little difficult to find, but the convenience and quiet location outway this. Secure offroad parking and excellent breakfast.

My husband and I, retired, spent 5 idyllic nights in the Languedoc region with this gite as our base. We stayed in the room Paratge, a very large room with view of rolling hills and distant mountains (Pyrenees) from the little kitchen and of the patio, trees main house from the other. The little housekeeping rooms are in an ancient...

The Holy Cross Stable B & B is a little piece of France wrapped up in a bow. Set amongst a backdrop of vineyards and rolling hills this idyllic spot is a welcoming haven. Genevieve is a delight, full of information and only too willing to assist with your plans, outings, restaurants and wine destinations. Our Gite was very comfortable,...

We stayed 2 nights to enjoy what Carcassonne had to offer and were not disappointed. The Ecuries st Croix are situated in the hills just a 20 minutes walk from the walled city. The landlady, Genevieve is very welcoming and will give information on where to eat and what to see. We followed her recommendation and she was spot on....

We spent a week at Ecuries and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our plane arrived in the morning and we were able to check in early and also had our accommodation upgraded. We stayed in one of the Gites which was extremely comfortable and very well equipped. The owners are very friendly, hospitable and helpful without being intrusive. Breakfasts were delicious...
