We chose Hotel Bristol due to the close proximity to Carcasonne railway station for our onward journey. We had a late availability booking for one night which was very good value. The hotel is dated, notably the decor, but our bedroom was large with a comfortable bed and crisp white bedlinen. The bathroom was roomy with a good shower over...

I was leaving and asked the receptionist (16/7/2016 evening) to call me a cab to get to a local music festival where I was working. Seems she called a friend rather than a legit cab firm. Guy was nice enough but drove the long way round small streets and houses to get there to milk his justification for a €15...

I want to be kind as the staff were pleasant. The hotel is of the shabby chic style, but for a three star hotel does not really make the grade. The beds were comfortable but in temperatures of 33 some form of air con would have been nice. The breakfast on one of the two morning s displayed mold on...

Nothing to complain about, but not spectacular. The location is ideal being in the city centre. Overlooking the canal, the windows on the other side situated to face a peaceful small street. Sadly the street noise can be heard through. Very good service.

We stayed for one night as a last minute decision to stay in Carcassonne and were not expecting much from the hotel. We were not disappointed in that regard. The room was basic with a poor alleyway view - forgivable under the circumstances of our unplanned stopover. However, the receptionist upon arrival was astoundingly rude. Even when leaving the establishment...

Reading the reviews about the Hotel Bristol you might be slightly apprehensive as to what you might expect. But like so many reviews on Tripadvisor you really have to ignore the occasional horror stories and the over the top "everything was wonderful" ones. In its heyday it must have been wonderful and certainly could do with a couple of million...

We were asked what time we would arrive, and we specified it would be around 11h in the morning. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist told us we COULDN'T check in until 15h, because our bedroom was full. We asked to leave our luggage there, because we didn't want to go around with it during the whole day,...

Just over the road from the station & next to the Canal du Midi. My room was fine - clean but just a little tired in places & a bit grubby round the grouting in the shower. Breakfast OK, lots of croissants & pastries plus cereals, fruit salad, ham, cheese, etc. Pleasant helpful staff. There's a lift. I'd stay here...

We paid 114 euros for 2 night double bed (2nd floor). Comparing to other hotel(cleaning service y free towel) in Carcassonne, the price is average-low so you shouldn't expect something more. Don't trust 3 stars hotel rate. I was worried about BED BUG after reading review below and fortunately we didn't have it..... 15 mins from La cite. Good location...

We were put in room 107 that was crawling with bed bugs. I had 286 bites in one night that needed antihistamines and anaesthetic cream from a doctor. The room was dirty and the bathroom had mould round the tiles and the toilet had brown stains. The wardrobe was falling apart. Carpet rotten. The hotel had no intentions of fumigating...
