After reading some of the earlier reviews I was a little wary of booking the campsite but my fears were unfounded. The pitch was large and flat with good shade. The toilet and shower block was clean and in good condition. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The site is extremely well located for getting to the... More

We were dissapointed by this camping. We stayed in it for 7 days, and what we found were oftenly smelly and dirty toilets and showers, an expensive laundry (10€ per service) and a place were customer's rest was not respected, as night shows lasted until 2330 and the stage (which was in the bar/restaurant) was located too near of many... We decided to try and stay here to visit Carcassonne on our way to the Med. We are 2 adults in a motor home. The camping book said to avoid in summer months as it gets full quickly, but we took a chance and it paid off. The site itself is quite big with large pitches for motor homes and... More

stayed here for a few days whilst backpacking along the canal du midi. The site is well organised and great facilities. Toilets and Showers all clean and well maintained. Very busy site with lots of daily comings and goings. Good prices too both for camping and in the bar and restaurant. Good live entertainment each evening. Very easy walk into... More

Stayd there one night with a tent. Great location on foot to the town or to the castle. Service is good. Nice pools. I did not like that the toilets don't have toilet seats. How hard this is to buy these unexpensive things. Anyway probably they are interested that people are walking in camping site carrying their own toilet seats.... More

Place is huge with streets so kids cannot run around. Sanitary facilities are good. Staff extremely unfriendly and unwilling to help several times. My worst camping experience so far. 50€/night. Just next door is a RV parking area. That would be a better choice if you don't need the pool. Advertised Wifi at reception area didn't really work.

Very clean well kept site. Friendly welcome from reception and bar restaurant. Ideal for visiting the cite just a short walk along the river. Good sized pitches which you can choose. A bit expensive but worth it to visit the old cite.

We stopped here just for one night as it was so close to Carcassonne. Access to La Cite and city centre was easy, either on foot or bicycle on the very good path. The facilities were clean and the staff were very friendly. The site is very convenient for travelers and sightseers because it's not far from the motorway.

Good location for visiting Carcassone. Located next to river, nice path with frequent locals who use it, easy walk or bike (we rode to town- took about 5 minutes). Large pitches, many with shade, some with good privacy. We were given our pitch but with an option to move if desired. Facilities mostly clean, showers were difficult to use as... More
