What a fantastic location right by the city walls, with restaurants within a stones throw away. The room we had was good and quiet. The staff friendly and willing to help with everything. The breakfast was OK. It was about a 15 min walk into the "new town" where the train station was and the canal midi boat rides.

What a fantastic hotel, located a stone's throw away from the city, although we couldn't see the amazing view from our room, you could from the pool, it was that close. Our twin room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable and clean. The wifi in the hotel worked well enough and breakfast was great (although maybe a little steep at...

Great location a stones throw from the old city main entrance, and a handy bar opposite with a large beer garden overlooking the citadel. The hotel was clean and bathroom was modern with a good, hot, powerful shower. Staff were friendly but not particularly forthcoming with information for foreign tourists, although in the world of internet (wifi was available free...

This hotel was easier to find than I anticipated . Arriving at the railway station I simply followed the brown signs for 'La cite' and after about 25 minutes walk, I was there. Staff were warm and welcoming - the location is ideal for exploring La Cite - it is literally just over the road. The room was clean and...

I stay here when in Carcassonne (obviously!). The rooms are comfortable but can be somewhat small depending on which one you get. WiFi works reasonably but can be a bit slow. Breakfast is better the earlier you hit the dining room before the croissants are gone. Staff friendly, I am not sure if they speak much English as I speak...

The hotel is located a twenty five minute walk from the centre of Carcassonne, or a 8 euro taxi ride. The service from the young lady on reception was exceptional, she went over and above her duties, and was so helpful. Thank you. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very nice. Thank you Hotel Aragon

Situated a 5 minute walk from the main gate into the old city, this hotel ticks all of the boxes. Value for money, location, cleanliness, facilities, staff and choice at breakfast. They have this hotel set up brilliantly - congratulations to the staff and management.

Great place to stay - I am a coeliac and in France that's no so easy so I was really impressed when they said they could cater for a gluten free breakfast. I was presented with gluten free cereal and bread. On top of that you could also have boiled eggs, a choice of cold meats, yogurts, gluten free biscuits,...

Clean rooms and nice staff at an extraordinary location is of importance when visiting Carcasonne and sourrandings. Parking is free but french standard ie somewhat small parking lots. But yet walking up to medieval city finding out your parking is closer is what one appreciate.
