After reading reviews on this hotel we decided to book for a weekend break. We were delighted with it,our room was small but clean, quiet and comfortable(lovely views as well). It's position for exploring Carcassonne and Le Cite was excellent. We don't normally eat in hotels, preferring to find a nice restaurant, but on this occasion chose to on the first night and thought...

Been meaning to do this ever since we got back, 18 months ago! We stayed for a week. Frankly hadn't expected much from a chain hotel except a sort of antiseptic efficiency. Well, we certainly got the cleanliness and efficiency; room was pleasant enough ...BUT... (1) Staff were terrific! Courteous, helpful - and diplomatic about my French. A lot of...

We only had one night at this superb hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again - I really wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Carcassonne. It's only a few minutes walk from the old Cite. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and they all communicated well in English. There is a cosy little bar area with...

We stayed here based on other peoples' reviews and weren't disappointed! We booked through an American website and got breakfast included in the room rate - and that room rate was very competative compared to booking direct with the hotel. Rooms are small but clean and adequate and the food at the hotel was superb. Having booked for a few...

Hotel was excellent. Rooms clean and comfortable however they were a little on the small side but certainly adequate. Interesting to note that over 55's get a discount and one free breakfast! Hotel restaurant very good the set menu is excellent value for money, we do not eat meat and the fish alternative was superb. Reception and restaurant staff all...

Surprisingly nice for a Mercure hotel. Perfect for an overnight trip to Carcassonne. In walking distance from the old town. Hotel offers free car parking. Tiny but clean room. The staff were polite and helpful. Hotel is in a quiet and convenient location for visiting La Cite but I would not book it for a vacation more than 3 days.

This was quite a good effort for an Accor Mercury hotel, the bed was comfy, we had requested easy access as my wife is disabled, large room with walk in shower but toilet mounted on a huge pedastal very weird and defeated the success with the shower. The staff were very polite and helpful, easy access of the over restored...

We stayed for 2 nights, with a superior room, which was very comfortable, quiet, and had a wonderful view of the Citadel, lit at night. This hotel is in a quiet and convenient location, in easy walking distance of the entrance(Porte). Good hotel car park. Strongly recommend 16euro 3 course evening menu at the hotel restaurant, a very good experience....

We arrived here after a hot drive from La Rochelle and were delighted to be given a room with garden access. It allowed us to chill out with a book, have a dip in the pool (very welcome in this area!) and enjoy a drink at the bar right on our doorstep. The room was huge and the bathroom enormous!...
