Great service especially in restaurant and reception. Buffet of starters and desserts were good, breakfast buffet lacked eggs and a range of cereals and fruit. Shame there was a problem with the air conditioning.

Visited on 14 juillet for the fête nationale. The walk to the Aude takes about 30 minutes. It can be hard to find a good viewing spot as most of the best are taken by lunchtime. We had dinner and breakfast and they were very good. Jonathan on reception was extremely helpful and friendly.

The accommodation was clean - very basic but perfect for a quick stopover and very reasonably priced - the location was very good for sightseeing in the city - staff very pleasant - on street parking was available and also a car park was available

Good room with air conditioning that works. Nice ensuite. Food good. Staff helpful & friendly. Located too far out too walk into Carcassone so had to drive to carpark outside the city. Good secure parking at the hotel.

We booked this hotel because of the ratings it received and its location, but our stay here was disappointing. While the location is good (about 15-20 minute walk to the medieval city), our room was stuffy and had a bit of a funky smell. The afternoon-evening front staff did offer us a map of the city and recommendations, but the...

It was my first visit to a Campernile site. Like it so much that I went to Campernile Sete on my way home. I enjoyed the experience as you appear to aim for the quality I like. Not too much and certainly not too little

Just returned from a week in Carcassonne where we stayed for seven nights at the Campanile near La Cite. Can't praise it too highly, especially for a budget type hotel. Everything was more than satisfactory - rooms, cleaning, ambience, staff attitude, food and drink. We would especially praise Jonathen and Natasha who ran everything with a quiet but assured efficiency...

Spent 7 days in the Carcassonne area based at the Campanile-what an excellent choice. Clean and spacious rooms-staff throughout the hotel were welcoming, friendly and informative-nothing was too much trouble.Varied menu in restaurant with specials that changed daily. The medieval cite is walkable as is the town centre and the canal du midi. Will certainly stay again-most of staff are bi-lingual...

Very modern clean Camponile hotel (no tired concrete spiral stairs here, but a lift instead). Rooms are bright and cheerful with a very useable shower in the ensuite. Reception staff are very efficient and multi-lingual. Our only moan was the restuarant service. At our evening meal the place was only half full and there were at least 4/5 people serving...
