Having explored Carcassonne we would have to say that La Trivalle is definitely the best location to stay. The small quaint streets with good cafes and restaurants are perfect. We stayed with Beatrice at this lovely little bed and breakfast and we think that it is possibly the best place we have ever stayed in. The rooms are large and... More

Nestled outside the walls of the cite this is a charming town house. Beautifully presented and comfortable with excellent facilities. Madame Pelouze is a great host, full of helpful information and recommendations for good places to visit and eat. Breakfast is a positive feast ! Fresh bread and pastries with home made conserve we were truly spoilt. A wonderful place... More

Located at the base of Carcassonne, this spacious B&B was quite and very comfortable. We walked 2 minutes to enjoy a delicious street side dinner then did an evening tour of Carcassonne. The rooms have comfortable beds and good showers, very clean. The owner is gracious and presented us with a lovely breakfast of fresh peaches, croissants, baguettes, yogurt, juice... More

Great host Beatrice, she was most informative, friendly and helpful. The house has been upgraded, but she maintained the old world charm. Well done! lovely breakfast. The rooms are very large and most comfortable. Location is excellent!! Only a 5 minute walk to the front gates of the Medieval City!

We were a family of five staying with Madame Pelouze for a single night. The house is an old town house situated right at the foot of the Carcasonne castle - so a perfect base for discovering Carcassonne. The rooms are newly renovated and beautifully decorated, and we even had access to a garage where we could park our car.... More

My husband and I just spent two nights at this B&B and it was just great. The location is right next to the ancient walled city of Carcassonne, the house itself being a beautifully restored heritage building in the old part of town. We were able to leave our car garaged at the house and easily walked everywhere we wanted... More

This B and B is heavenly. Owned by Beatrice who was amazingly kind to us, getting up early to give us breakfast and ordering taxis or actually taking us to the bus to catch our canal du midi boat. We stayed in both the bedrooms as we loved it so much we extended our stay. The rooms are elegant, spotlessly... More

This maison encien -old house -was just lovely. We had a lovely room and we could look out of the window and see the red rooftops of the little houses nearby. We were at the foot of the walls of the fantastic bastide into which we ventured to see the amazing interior-once a complete little city. Our room was large... More

We had a great stay here. The hostess was charming, the place was absolutely beautiful. Big bedroom and bathroom and even a garage to park our car! It's just a short walk to get to the cite, so very convenient. I was also glad to stay outside the walls, because there seemed to be many people inside partying and being... More

This B & B is situated in the perfect location to explore both the fairy tale medieval city and the more contemporary town of Carcassonne. The rooms are lovely as was the hospitality shown by the owner and her family. Our stay coincided with Bastille Day and fireworks over the castle-not to be missed!!
