We stayed for four nights (26-30th September). The check in was blissfully simple, polite easy going staff. Our room was cosy but adequate for a city break. The best thing about the hotel tho was the location. A stones throw from Port Royal station and one minute stroll from Luxembourg Gardens. A couple of bars along the street have 'happy...

I booked this place after having stayed here in 98 during the World cup. Freshly renovated back then, i don't think much has been done since then. I can't say the place was un-clean it just seemed old & run down. The lift if very slow and can only fit you and a small back pack on or me and...

On our trip to Paris me and my husband stayed at Hotel Beauvoir and there everything was excellent. Great hotel, great services, wonderful position in the center near Jardin de Luxembourg, 0 m to Port Royal metro station. 10 minutes on foot from Montparnas and 15 minutes on foot from Notredam Cathedral, less than 10 minutes from the Pantheon and...

I booked a room for one night via the SNCF website. Upon my arrival, around 11pm, the receptionist could not find my reservation. After some time he confirmed my booking but said my room had been taken out of service due to a bad smell. He therefore spent an hour trying to find me alternative accommodation, for which he said...

Dear Sir, As you know, we are sincerely sorry for what happened when you arrive. We attach great importance to the home of our customers but due to a computer problem we have not received your reservation and upon arrival there was only one room which we were not normally rent. This is the first time we are faced with...

We found the hotel quaint and comfortable. Right on the Boulevard St Michel the hotel is a stones throw from the RER B at Port Royal and you can be in central Paris in only few minutes. Lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Luxembourg Gardens are close by and the Sorbonne is around a 20 minute walk.

Hotel was awful, outdated and unclean! The bed sheets had stains on them and the carpet in the bedroom was filthy. There were no power sockets in the bedroom only one in the bathroom which was less than practical. The room overlooked a junction and train station and was also beside a hospital which meant that it was too noisy...

Hotel was perfect for what we wanted, doesn't look great from the outside but the interior is perfect for a short stay and staff are friendly. We found the location fine for us. We were happy to walk 20 minutes to the river. Long walk from the Eiffel Tower but it is possible. Good restaurants nearby also

Unfortunately this place that has loads of potential just didn't pull it together. I have travelled many times in Europe and understand the rooms are small (compared to North America) and that's not my issue. The shower stall was so tiny you couldn't even move without the shower curtain clinging to your body. Also, because there is no air conditioning...

“Rooms on 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th floor that end with number '4' or '5' ( eg 5th floor, room 54 or 55)”
  • The Luxemborg Gardens from the 6th floor
  • The structural beam that divides the room
  • The RER station from the 6th floor ( hemingway suites )
  • Hemingway Suites may be charming for some... annoying for others
  • 2ft X 2ft square shower tray... its tough. Elbows will knock the taps.
