Hotel Turenne Le Marais is often celebrated for its cleanliness and cozy atmosphere, with guests praising the spotless rooms and comfortable, albeit compact, quarters. The location is a major draw, providing easy access to the charms of the Marais district along with convenient metro connectivity. While the rooms are well-kept and tidy, some guests mention they are on the smaller side and may experience noise. The service at the hotel receives accolades for being attentive and professional, enhancing the overall value of a stay, even as a few guests suggest the breakfast could be more reasonably priced.

We enjoyed our stay here. Location is super - there are 2 metro stops nearby (Saint-Paul, line 1 and Bastille, line 8). Rue Turenne is right off of Rue Saint-Antoine, lots of restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. Place des Vosges and Maison Victor Hugo are just around the corner. You can easily spend the day in the area (Marais) just exploring without ever having to take the metro or any transit. The hotel itself is clean and amenities are included. Mini fridge, AC (that was a life saver as we had arrived during the infamous July heatwave), small TV, a small cupboard to hang our clothes on, coffee and tea and electric kettle. The staff is friendly. My husband left a set of keys in our hotel room and the hotel returned it to us via mail, that was nice. We never tried the breakfast, as you can easily find a few boulangeries within 5 minutes or less. Just a small hiccup, we used the small stirring spoon in the morning to have yogurts, but we found upon our return to hotel in the evenings, that the housekeeping staff did not clean the spoon or replaced them with clean ones. I ended up washing them myself, which was not a big deal, but I thought it's worth mentioning. It would be nice to have clean utensils every day. Other than that, it was a great stay. I recommend the hotel.

We were only in Paris for one night and wanted to stay in Le Marais. Hotel Turrene was perfectly located near the Place de Vosges and steps away from dozens of restaurants and cafes. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our only complaint was the tiny room - barefully enough room to open the suitcase next to the bed. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped, and the view was beautiful. If you're not planning to spend a lot of time in your room (which we had no intention of doing - we were in Paris after all!) the hotel is a nice place to stay.

The location is great in Le Marais. Close to shops, dining and the Metro 1. Our stay included breakfast with different cheeses, pastries, coffees and teas. There were also different cereals and fruits and meats. Room and bathroom were clean. Toilet area is separate from shower/sink area. Beds were twin size. Staff was nice and helpful even though we knew very little French.

Excellent experience. Have stayed in another precious boutique hotel nearby and found Hotel Turenne Le Marais much more sizable which I appreciated. They also freshened up daily (vacuum, made beds, cleaned bath & supplied new towels). Very friendly and accommodating staff. Windows block street noise when closed but Turenne is a busier street than the other hotel so leaving window open while sleeping was more distracting. Highly recommend. Never tried the breakfast but looked great!

As a solo senior traveler, I felt very comfortable in this hotel. All the staff members were welcoming and helpful. I appreciate the hard work it takes to run a clean, cozy property. My room was tiny, but that was no surprise. I was offered a room with no window but a large bathroom with tub; instead I asked for a room with a window. I did enjoy the window, but there proved to be a little bit of street noise in the early morning. Also, I disliked the walk-in shower. There were no grab bars. The smooth tile floor was slippery. I enjoyed the mural of Caillebotte's "The Floor Scrapers" (an Impressionist painting in the Musée d'Orsay) in my room. Great location in the Marais with multiple transit options, including metro Line 1 to Louvre, Champs-Elysées, etc.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I knew from reviews that the rooms would be small but they were even smaller than expected. Just an observation as there’s nothing to be done about it (and it is such a great location in Paris so you pay for every inch). But the beds were also incredibly comfortable - my friend and I now want them for our own homes! We also loved the great tasting filtered water provided downstairs - great for the environment and for our budgets to not have to keep buying water bottles. A very quiet room too.

A few small suggestions to help make better use of the small space…. More mirrors and better lighting would be a game changer. In particular, a full length mirror on the back of the door or in the entryway would be helpful. The mirrors alongside the bed are a) obstructed by both light fixtures and bedside table; and b) in a very tight space so difficult to use . Also the lighting in the bathroom and on the bedside mirrors is not sufficient (uplighting not good for applying makeup) . And maybe a second small foldable luggage rack under the desk. But otherwise a lovely stay and would recommend!

Dear 336LoriR, Thank you for sharing your experience following your stay in our hotel! It’s great to hear that the staff was friendly and helpful, and that you enjoyed the comfortable beds and quiet room.We are also delighted that you appreciated our eco-responsible approach with the water fountain. We are very concerned about implementing good environmental actions.Your feedback about the small space is valuable. Adding more mirrors and improving lighting could indeed enhance the overall experience. We appreciate your recommendations and hope to welcome you back soon. Perfect location in the Marais. Small room and tiny bathroom but very functional, new, clean, modern but also the deco, wall paper give it a boutique, unique style. Overall very good
The check out time 10am is too early but they can keep your luggage in a safe room with tags.

In the heart of the Le Marais district (the old Parisian marshes, now elegant and lively district) the hotel welcomes you with courtesy of staff and cleanliness. Two minutes walk and you take both metro and bus. Breakfast is satisfactory and with BIO products. The room was small, very small, but we are in Paris and you spend time outside enriching yourself with French treasure. The quality of sleep is high thanks to an excellent mattress and windows that soundproofed the room. The bathroom is renovated fully functional. A refreshment of the common areas would be useful to give credit to a hotel that smells of ancient splendor. To keep in mind.

The location in terms of proximity to places and areas of interest was very good. There is no curb appeal but the rooms are nice. The staff was very friendly. The separate foyer from the bedroom was very good as it muted any hallway noise. I would stay here again.

Overall Hotel Turenne is clean and in a excellent location. Only one gentleman at the front desk made me feel welcome. The breakfast had excellent cheese selections, bread and coffee, but it would have been good to have hot eggs and cereals on offer. My room, bathroom and separate toilet were too small for a 5 night stay, but clean. Upon checking out, I asked if because of my 5 night stay, I could get a discount. The gentleman checking me out said I should book a larger room next time and a discount is impossible. I've stayed at other hotels that immediately offer a discount for extended stays. Overall, I probably would not come back to this hotel. For the price I would expect more on offer. Le Marias has too many competing hotels that are truly 4 star. With a few updates Hotel Turenne would be an excellent 4 star hotel.
