This continues to be a really nice friendly place to stay. Nothing fancy but a very good position for restaurants and sightseeing. The hotel has five floors and is tucked into the same building as the vast Theatre le Chatelet so it is quite quirky with all the rooms being different sizes and shapes. Rooms on the 4th (top) floor...

Very well sited hotel, pleasant and accommodating staff. Very close to the action of Rue St Denis, Notre Dame, and the left bank. We have stayed here three times since 2006, both with friends and without and found the hotel to be very close to the shopping and night life, along with being quiet subject to other customers.

Stayed here for one night in Jan after our air B&b went a bit wrong (lesson learned!) Hotel did exactly what it said on the tin, clean, quiet, reasonably priced in a busy part of Paris. We went in off the street and got a good rate for last minute. Got a twin room with en suite which was perfectly...

We stayed there for 4 nights in Christmas and we loved it! The location is ideal, in the heart of Paris! Only 2 min. walk far from the metro station. The room was small but really charming. The staff was very polite, helpful and always smiling! Thank you! We will definitely stay there again!

We stayed for three nights, and found it to be a great base for exploring. You can walk to most attractions very easily from here, and it is very close to the Chatelet metro stop. Our room was small, but clean and contained everything we required. A basic breakfast was on offer for 9 euros and did the trick. The...

The Hotel is in the perfect position for Paris. It is close to the Louvre, Notre Dame, the metro, the Seine - the opera house just to name a few. Restaurants are on every corner and the people in the area appear very happy with all that is going on around them. Even though our stay was only 1 week...

There are lots of lovely things to say about this hotel. The location is amazing, you can walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame, etc within minutes and there's a metro at the end of the road (and it's less than 10 mins to the nearest RER station which takes you to Charles de Gaulle or Disney). You're surrounded by great...

This was a convenient hotel situated for easy access to central attractions. Staff were very helpful and printed out a map for us to visit the Monet Museum with clear instructions on the Metro. Good advice on where to eat for dinner on our overnight stay. I would definitely stay again.

Super location near everything including a metro station. Great staff, clean, big room and lovely euro breakfast. Although not a high rise, noise wasn't an issue at all. Would stay here again anytime, great value for money. Wifi was free and excellent too.

We stayed here for 4 nights from Oct 12-16 and we walked to almost everywhere. On our 1st day we walked around the neighborhood and did not realize we were already at the Louvre and tuileries. It is also so near the Notre Dame and saint chapelle that we can hear the bells from our rooms. We also walked from...

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
