Good location, close to the metro, and a very short walk to Rue Montorgueil, a dreamy street full of excellent bakeries, cafes and artisanal stores selling cheese and produce. Friendly front staff, affordable price, especially considering an ensuite. Only gripe would be that the wifi connection is so poor it is basically non existent.

This budget hotel was perfectly placed. We could easily walk round the corner to the metro or walk to the Seine. It was small but spotless. As there was only a hand held shower I actually loved the long soak in the bath after a weary day sightseeing. We were in the top room which meant quite a walk up... More

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. It was wonderful. The hotel is very close to the main train station. It is very close to catch metro to any tourist destinations. Room is very clean and do serve breakfast if you need. Even hair dryer is available upon your request. Nice and quiet to take a rest aa well.... More

Good location. I walk 5 minute from Bonne Nouvelle Metro Station. The room comes furnished with a closet, a shower and a flat-screen TV. but The hotel no ELEVATOR. If you have a high floor. You will be very tired.

The hotel is far from 5 star quality but it doesn't claim to be. The location is excellent and the room has everything you need, albeit a bit cramped and the decor a bit dated. However, the public transport links from the hotel were excellent and we were able to pretty much walk everywhere despite the fact the weather wasn't... More

The hotel was very good with check-in as we had to change our check-in time multiple times. We finally arrived at half past one in the morning. The man behind the desk gave us the key immediately and didn't ask for passports or anything. The room was very small but clean. I was slightly worried by the massive cracks in... More

I visited as a solo female traveller in December 2015. I honestly was not expecting much for such a low price but the hotel was perfect for what I wanted - clean, very close proximity to two different Metro stations (Bonne Nouvelle and Saint Denis), free wifi, friendly staff, located just off a busy, thriving area full of restaurants, bars... Filthiest hotel I have ever been. Ugly and depressive too. Should be closed down by public health authorities. Hair everywhere in the room. Sheets not even large enough to cover the mattress. Holes in the linens. The space was so limited that I was jumping from the bed straight to bathroom. Almost ruined my holidays in Paris.

I actually visited in June 2014 but cannot select that long back. This is the worst hotel i ve ever stayed in. Filthy (huge ball of hair in the shower), awful beds (shirt sheets with holes) and the breakfast is a piece of bread with jam served at the desk of the reception. Avoid even if offered for free. Strick... More

I can't stress enough how I love straightforward accommodation that is able to provide me the basic necessities in travel life. The location is very good, 2nd arrondisement. Within walking distance from Metro stations. If you are even healthy enough, you can walk from the hotel to the Garu de Nord, Sacre coeur and Louvre Museum. You just really need... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
