Just needed 3 days in cheap place in Paris, it's very ok if you just sleep there and have good free wifi. There's no shower in room so it's hostel but still single rooms exist, i used one. There were TV and table with chair.

The place was easy to find as the small street Rue Jacquard is listed in google maps. The nearest station is Parmentier metro station. Its old building has a classic moulin rouge feel to it..The service is okay, check in and out were quick. There is no bathroom in the room. Simple room with shared bathroom for the whole floor....

excellent service, good facilities. Ok it's not the Plaza Athenée but we had no issues there and we stayed 5 nights. Only issue is that there's no lift and we were on the 5th floor but we had been warned and we're both fit so it was fine. I'd go there again for sure.

Prices are very cheap. The hotel is located in a central and well connected area close to oberkampf and parmentier metro stations. The view from our room was great and the room itself was basic but nice clean and sort of bohemienne. The staff was very friendly. The only bad thing was that our room was on the 4th floor...

tiny but you have almost all you need, the staff were really helpful. The toilets for single rooms were too distant and the showers as well but the views out of the windows terrific. e toAlso quite close to the main tourist attractions, easy access to basic means of transport. I would stay there one more time...

well located, close to Jim Morrison. Boulangeries everywhere, very nice little restaurant across the street, with the best soup I ever ate. Cheap and clean, no private bathroom, nice bars very close, crowded pub same block

Staying in Bastille / Oberkampf

Neighbourhood Profile
Bastille / Oberkampf
Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s at night this area really comes to life. Students and young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait for coveted tickets during the day. Towards Republique, skateboarders practice their tricks while others chill out at the square. If you’re looking for late-night revelry, this is your neighbourhood.
