Situated only a 15 minute walk from the Gare du Nord and a 5 minute walk to the Gare de Lest railway stations this hotel is idealy situated for the budget minded traveller--it is also very handy for the Metro. The rooms are basic but clean and all appliances including the shower and T.V. work well plus the beds are comfortable...

Stayed here in 2011 and to be honest it was better back then. Chose it this time again because knew where it was as had no time to look for anything else. Room was tiny, dark, bathroom/shower moldy. Most important it was clean and didnt smell - that is all of the good things about it. Plus proximity to North...

I've been staying at this quirky hotel since 1993; it is different. The staff are always friendly. The breakfast has become very basic, the cheeses, spreads, meats & cereals are gone. It is 10-mins from the Gare du Nord & Gare d'est. Right opposite is the brilliant Marche St. Quentin, well worth a visit. Staying here twice in 2017.

The smell in the room and in the hall is really terrible. I discovered that the smell came from the ventilation pipe behind the toilet. It was difficult to have a nice shower and use the bathroom with that terrible smell. And the carpets in the halls is smelly too.

Pros: 1. Proximity to Train Stations and Metro 2. Short Metro ride to major attractions 3. Rooms were clean 4. Morning staff pleasant 5. Nice bistros in area Cons: 1. Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired (just bread, coffee, & canned juice) 2. Beds were too narrow to call twin (3 in the room) 3. Wifi was intermittent...

I just came from Paris, where we went for 4 days visit with my father. It took me few days surfing and reading dozens of reviews to choose a place to stay. Our budget was very modest. Hotel Nord et Champagne met all our criteria: cheap, close to the center, good transport communication, easy airport access and descent facilities. We...

We booked for a 3 night city break, seeing all the sights. For this kind of holiday this hotel is perfect. Close to 2 stations and within walking distance of many sights. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms are fairly small and quite basic, but who goes to a city like this to spend time in a hotel room?...

The hotel is small, located near Gare de l'est. The elevator is a cliché: old and pretty small. We use the stairs all the time, because our room was in the 2nd floor. The room was good, with bath tub and a small t.v. The smell of the coffee and pain au chocolat was our alarm to going down at...
