I'm not sure if this is what I can expect for the price in this part of town, but the moment we opened the door, we wished we spent extra $50 to get a decent hotel. Thank god we were only here for 1 night and spent a total of 5 hours to just sleep in this little hole. First...

close to everything! as a first timer in Paris, this was a good base to stay. centrally located, metro station is literally a stone's throw away. night life in the area is bustling! the room we had was old and dark- needs some renovation. ventilation was also a main concern. no airconditioning.front desk staff was very helpful and accomodating.

My husband, 3 young children and my in-laws all wanted to attempt a 1 night stay in Paris during a half term break in April. I wanted something in the center of Paris since we did not want to spend time on the public transport wasting our two days. But knowing that most hotels in Paris within a descent price...

We are a family of 5 with 3 kids aged 10, 12 and 14 who just came back from apartment for 6. It is a great location not even 150 feet from the Cluny/St michel metro stop. RER from airport was incredibly easy. Lots of great restauarants nearby and a monoprix where we got basic groceries. Our apartment was on...

The hotel, or rather self-service apartment, is wonderfully located at a stone throw from the Notre Dame and the Louvre in the Quartier Latin. The owner is very friendly and accomodating. The downside is that the rooms are a bit run-down, clean, but very basic and small. Some paint and refurbishing would go a long way.....

The location of these apartments is excellent. less than 5 minutes walk to notre dame, metro stations are very close by & lots of restaurants within the side streets around the property. Apartments are well equipped but not luxurious. We had a 4 person apartment and 3 person studio for a group of 7. the 4 person apartment has sofa...

We found the manager of this hotel very accomodating and helpful. We arrived and initially our room was only big enough for 2 people and not able to accomodate an extra bed for my young child as we requested. The manager came down after hours and "upgraded" us to an apartment with an upstairs bedroom with 2 twin beds a...

We found the apartment very handy to everything, especially the 2 metro lines. Very easy walking to Notre Dame. Heaps of eating places up & down the lanes at the end of our street. The apartment was tiny, virtaually 1 room with a small bookcase style divider & a kitchenette. Separate small bathroom. The beds were all fold out lounges...

The main attraction of this hotel/Apartment is the location. It is right next to 2 metro lines and is in the heart of the latin quartier. The night life/restaurants/attractions are so easy to access from here. As such i would stay here again, but don't expect much. The room/apartment is tiny. The bed is sofa bed which you set up...

The location is clearly good, few steeps from metro station Cluny la Sorbonne and right in the middle of the lively Quartier Latin. Although there is no reception, the land lord has answered very promptly at the day of arrival with instructions, and also late at night and the weekend, and allowed us (two couples with two rooms) to late...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.

“If you want wifi in your room, request a lower floor room, otherwise you will need to sit in the lobby (which is pleasant). This is a small hotel, so don't expect large opulent rooms. We had a small studio with a kitchenette and it was more than adequate.”

“What I understand the rooms who are for two persons are placed pointing to the inner courtyard. Something I think is great. Maybe your view are a wall or house but you can open the windows and you hear no noise from traffic.”
