We spent one night at this hotel and it was fine for one night but no more. A good size room but dated furniture and the bed was a fold out bed. We had a basic kitchen but didn't use it. The internet was difficult to use ( I have never seen such a long password) but once on it...

Great apartment in the best place of Paris. Close to metro station. Close to all the restaurants in latin quarter. The sofa bed is very comfortable to sleep in. The refrigerator was clean and with no noise. Warm water in the shower. The apartment had a good kitchen. The reception was always helpful. From the apartment you can walk to...

My true rating for this hotel is a 2.5. Excellent location, but otherwise only suitable for those who are accustomed to hostel-like accommodations. Had the reviews here been more accurate, I would have paid the extra $ for a more comfortable hotel, since I was traveling with my parents, not teenagers.

This was our first time in Paris and I can't imagine a better location than this apartment. It's not fancy - but clean, compact and a great price. The location is so terrific, we didn't need a taxi the whole time; we used the metro and were able to walk to most places. Just a great place - Thank-you Zak!!!

Very close to rer b train from airport. Got the ground floor duplex appartment which was roomier than expected with 2 bedrooms of each 2 beds+big sleeping sofa, 2 bathroms. Would stay here again, even though there is not much light at ground floor. Ok kitchen facilities for light meals. Could leave luggage before and after stay, service minded staff.

From a previous trip, I was prejudiced against hotels in Paris: I used to think there were two kinds of them: outrageously expensive or run down hostels with terrible reviews. Last time I had to stay in far away Charenton just to avoid going bankrupt (I was travelling alone). Things change a lot when you go to Paris with family/friends....

We stayed at the Hotel St Germain, Paris recently with our four children. It was perfect! The owner (or manager??) sent us clear checking in details (in English) in advance. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from Notre Dame. The triplex was very clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of space and two bathrooms. It was a particularly...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.

“If you want wifi in your room, request a lower floor room, otherwise you will need to sit in the lobby (which is pleasant). This is a small hotel, so don't expect large opulent rooms. We had a small studio with a kitchenette and it was more than adequate.”

“What I understand the rooms who are for two persons are placed pointing to the inner courtyard. Something I think is great. Maybe your view are a wall or house but you can open the windows and you hear no noise from traffic.”
