We arrived in Paris on Eurostar and made our way easily to the Hotel Virgina on the de Porte D'Orleans line. It took approx 25 minutes on the Metro but this gave us time to get our bearings. Ideal location for Metro, Buses and Tram lines to all your tourist destinations too..... We arrived at our hotel which is about...

Booked this hotel at the last second as everything else was booked up. Location - Close to Porte d'Oleans metro and has connection to three bus lines 28, 38, 68 right outside the hotel. It is not convenient and takes ages to get any of the sites. It is about 18 stops direct to Gare du Nord and 9 stops...

The Virginia Hotel was a wonderful part of our vacation in Paris. It's location, on the outskirts of the City, provided us with a calm and less 'bustling' atmosphere, along with all of the amenities of City life, such as fast and reliable public transportation, great restaurants, and good shopping. We booked online and confirmed over the phone. The staff,...

Hotel Virgina suited us just fine on our recent trip to Paris. We live in Geneva and on a whim decided on a weekend driving trip to Paris. We wanted something relatively cheap and convenient to the metro. We did not want a really fancy place, since we were in Paris of course and planned to spend our waking hours...

Stayed at hotel for six days, on what was my first vist to Paris, found the hotel staff to be very nice and helpfull from the people on the desk to the cleaners and lady who serves the breakfast. Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
