We stayed there over the New Year Eve celebrating in Paris and, despite the recent terrorist scares, enjoyed our stay in Paris The hotel is central enough to walk everywhere, and easy to access. Parking is always a nightmare but there are enough underground parking spaces available in the vicinity. The room is clean and modern although the rest of...

Very quiet and welcoming hotel . Rather international clientele . Rooms are well equipped and silent . Room service is efficient and breakfast very copious . Reception staff always helpful . Excellent location with many bus tube lines nearby .

The breakfast is ok (there is no diversity, but it was ok for us). The stuff was amazing!!! especially Alena and Dorah, who answered our questions and take care of our requests during our vacation. The location is amazing!! close to everything!! We were 4 people in one room, in the first night the room with the two floors was...

When we first arrived at this hotel, the man behind the desk kept telling me they didn't have a reservation under my name. I informed him that I had been charged and gotten a confirmation e-mail but it took me showing the e-mail to him for him to finally find the reservation. He was nice about it but it was...

My room was very small, quiet and clean. In fact, so small that I hadn't noticed that I had dropped a black bra under the bed. It wasn't until I got home, unpacked and found the bra not there.. I emailed the hotel, they had found the bra, and were waiting for mailing instructions from me. They graciously mailed it...

We have been to different hotels in Paris for each stay so for, but Choiseul Opera was the one we liked the most in matters of standing and location and we will surely be back soon. We had two rooms, one double and on triple, both were great, clean, well equipped. Breakfast was good and a reasonable choice. Personally I...

Even though the hotel room is a little small but convenient. The accommodation is close to De Louvre which is also close to the metro. Thus you can just take the subway to where you want to go. Really suitable if you only need a place to sleep!

Hotel was close to transport links, restaurants and bars. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Staff left a note and chocolates in the room after mentioning that it was my anniversary. Great metro links to the shopping centres, Eiffel Tower and other monuments. The room was small but is manageable for a short stay. I opted out...

The staff was helpful and responsive, the room clean and well-maintained, nicely appointed, and well-configured for three people (a couple and a single). We stayed one night and chose this hotel for its location, and we were not disappointed. The breakfast was adequate.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
