We staid here for a week in the end of May 2011. The room was a bit small but okay. The only problem was that it was near the front desk on the first floor so you could hear people coming & going and talking at night. Also we had a window to the courtyard where two rooms had entrances...

This was a great wee hotel in Montmartre, approx 5-7mins walk from the Metro. We loved this hotel and the area we were in. Rooms from what I understand, in Paris are not as big as you may find in other coutries (such as USA) - we found the twin bed room we had was not spacious but adequate, There...

A wonderful little place! The front desk staff strike the perfect balance of warmth and professional efficiency. The location is perfect - a bit tucked away, but two minutes walking and you're in the thick of it. We were in a room facing the street, and there was a joint down the street where the party spilled into the street...

Stayed here from 26th-29th July in room 26 (double). Lovely little hotel, furnished well and quite "arty". Spotlessly clean and friendly helpful staff made this a great choice. Nice location if you like a bohemian buzz. 5 minute walk to 2 Metro stops (Blanche and Abesses). Lots of creperies, restaurants etc and near to the Moulin Rouge, Sacre Coeur, Place...

I stayed here as it was recommended by several sites and wasn't disappointed. It was in a good location in Montmartre and good value for money. My room was small but clean and comfortable. The decor is unique, much nicer to stay somewhere like this than in a hotel from a chain that all look the same. It's about 5-10...

It was hard to find reasonable priced hotel in Paris without horrible reviews. We were happy to choose this one. We had no trouble to find the hotel from metro, after arrival we asked for room on top where u can see top of eiffel tower. Room was small but clean and not too cold for january. Montmartre has such...

My husband and I came here for a short-and-sweet honeymoon after I had been in the UK on business for a couple of weeks. Neither of us had been to Paris before, but luckily my instincts served me well when I picked this lovely hotel in Montmarte. For young-ish urban wannabe-bohemian types like ourselves, this neighborhood really couldn't be beat....

4 of us headed to Paris for a Girls weekend... and the hotel was perfectly situated... relatively close to the Underground, to the Moulin Rouge (where we enjoyed an evening of entertainment)... not to mention the funky shops in the neighbourhood... and of course some lovely well-priced resto's! the rooms were clean and comfortable and reasonably priced.. the bathroom was...

We spent 5 nights in this wonderful hotel! The service was brilliant as was the location. Nice and close to restaurants, Moulin Rouge, trains, laundry etc... Rooms are clean, tidy and quite modern. There are no drudges in the rooms, however the staff happily stored our beverages and food in the fridge in their kitchen! I would definitely return, we...

Hotel was clean, staff friendly, room was small and shower was pretty rubbish but then we didn't go to Paris to sit in the room and I wouldn't recommend you do either!. The hotel is in a great location for monmatre and the surrounding area - rue lepiz has great smells from the food on sale, almost impossible to walk...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
