We spent one night at Hotel Atmospheres and it was a delight from booking to checkout. We needed to be sure that the hotel could accommodate my mother-in-law in a wheelchair, and they wrote back promptly to confirm that they could place in her a room accessible with an elevator. When we arrived, they were very helpful in getting us...

I stayed in a suite room with my two kids and mother. I ended up on the fold out sofa bed and it was extremely comfortable! The rooms were very modern, clean and quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast area was lovely with a great assortment of foods. The hotel was very close to many cafes and a...

Small rooms but hey...it's Paris. Really great clean hotel with walking distance to metro subway and Notre-Dame de Paris. Nice cafes outside the hotel on the street. Not very busy street and not noisy at all. Highly recommended.

Stayed at Hotel Atmospheres primarily based on location and the fact that breakfast was included. When we arrived the service on reception was brilliant, very friendly and attentive staff. Our room was on the 5th floor, when I opened the door I was shocked at the size of the room it was very small, however I am told this is...

The location of the hotel makes it ideal for first time to Paris. We were able to walk to the hop on/hop off bus and go any where in the city and were able to walk to the river cruises. With local places nearby to eat at. The hotel itself is very nice and has some interesting features such as...

Granted my visit was in August when most of Paris is left to be run by second stringers and stand ins. 70% of the local population are off in the south vacationing leaving the city to tourists. But in a city where hotels big and small shoulder together in numbers to delight travelers, this one sadly seems like it should...

We stayed for a week at this lovely Latin Quarter hotel. The desk staff spoke English and made our stay pleasant in every way. Breakfast is available in their basement every morning--just as good as the local cafes, but lacking the open air atmosphere. If you need or want to get started early in the day it's great, since most...

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this great little gem. Perfect location for us to get around and yet in a fairly quiet part of the city. My husband and enjoyed staying in this hotel for our first visit to Paris. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The location is an excellent one for tourists; many beautiful streets to stroll around and excellent restaurants nearby. Highly recommend.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
THE FIRST ART-GALLERY HOTEL IN PARIS We invited photographer Thierry des Ouches to decorate the hotel with his breathtaking photography. Based on 112 original prints that are displayed throughout the hotel, in the lobby and rooms and his film "Paris" which is screened in the reception. We've created this hotel with extreme attention to detail and a focus on guest experience. With it's ideal location in Saint Germain, not only is the hotel's decoration unique, it's location in Paris' most exciting neighborhood, makes it the best of both worlds (great decoration and great location). We're looking forward to make your stay in Paris the best you've ever had. ... more   less
