We stayed 2 adults and 2 kids (teenagers) for 3 nights in a suite with bed and a sleeping couch. The room was nice and clean with enough space for our suitcases. The staff were very helpful and with a good sense of humor. The st Michel metro was within walking distance and so was Notre Dame and Louvre. No...

We stayed here the weekend of Valentines Day. This hotel is great, the staff is very professional and always willing to help. The area felt very safe. Room was very comfortable for family of three with baby. They provided us with a play-yard baby bed. Their breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of foods to choose from. Metro, restaurants,...

We loved this hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly from the minute we arrived. Located 200 metres from the Metro Station and a 30 minute Metro journey from Paris Gare De Nord. This hotel is in the 5th arrondisment on the south bank adjacent to the Sorebonne University district and 300 metres from the Notre Dame. There are...

Rooms were really nice but quite small. And that was the only setback in this beautiful hotel. Hotel is in really good place, being near RER and metro stations. Many good restaurants and lot of comic stores nearby. You can walk from the hotel to Notre Dame, Louvre and Jardin des Plantes.

Just come back from a 3 night stay at this hotel. The location is really good, in a lovely area with plenty cafes for eating close by. The staff were very friendly, we came back every night to a clean room with clean sheets and fresh towels. I would recommend this hotel very highly.

Great hotel on all counts. The staff were friendly and enormously helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. My room over-looked a sweet courtyard with a little balcony - charming! Really, I had everything I needed. The breakfast was more than adequate, hot eggs and really good coffee, and again, smiling employees. The location is perfect for visiting the...

This is a great hotel and very quirky. Service us quick and efficient and staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed in a deluxe suite which was comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast is relaxed and served until 11am which is great. Nothing to complain about -well situated and close to the metro.

A small hotel but perfectly placed for excellent restaurants in the Latin Quarter and exploring the centre of Paris. We went with kids and had two connecting rooms. The rooms weren't that spacious and we weren't overwhelmed with the decor but over the next three days we found we had everything we needed - free WIFI, tea and coffee, mini-bar,...

I stayed here for 5 nights at the end of January. All the good reviews of this hotel are justified. The reception service is excellent and very helpful and even managed to cope with my imperfect French. The rooms are tastefully decorated and quiet -if a little small (normal for Paris). The buffet breakfast is excellent and for the evening...

I plan on staying here again. Allow me to give you very real expectations: 1) it's a trendier hotel, so the style speaks to that. 2) the buffet - if included - is very small. Not a lot of options, but it's tasty, and totally satisfies. 3) the location is MAGNIFICENT. Within only a few blocks to Notre Dame, and...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
THE FIRST ART-GALLERY HOTEL IN PARIS We invited photographer Thierry des Ouches to decorate the hotel with his breathtaking photography. Based on 112 original prints that are displayed throughout the hotel, in the lobby and rooms and his film "Paris" which is screened in the reception. We've created this hotel with extreme attention to detail and a focus on guest experience. With it's ideal location in Saint Germain, not only is the hotel's decoration unique, it's location in Paris' most exciting neighborhood, makes it the best of both worlds (great decoration and great location). We're looking forward to make your stay in Paris the best you've ever had. ... more   less

“If you want QUIET stay in one of the courtyard rooms - we never heard a noise! Probably the best sleep I've had in a hotel (super comfortable beds) I hate hard mattresses and this hotel must have the best european pillowtops!”
