THE FIRST ART-GALLERY HOTEL IN PARIS We invited photographer Thierry des Ouches to decorate the hotel with his breathtaking photography. Based on 112 original prints that are displayed throughout the hotel, in the lobby and rooms and his film "Paris" which is screened in the reception. We've created this hotel with extreme attention to detail and a focus on guest experience. With it's ideal location in Saint Germain, not only is the hotel's decoration unique, it's location in Paris' most exciting neighborhood, makes it the best of both worlds (great decoration and great location). We're looking forward to make your stay in Paris the best you've ever had.

Neighbourhood
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.

Are there any shops to visit in the area in walking distance? Restaurants or wineries?
Hi there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance! Rue Descartes, Rue Mouffetard, Blvd Saint Germaine, Blvd Saint Michel and other areas around the Hotel Atmospheres offer you some great opportunities. Rue Mouffetard, Blvd Saint Germaine, Blvd Saint Michel, and Ile Saint Louis offer some great shopping. Even Rue des Écoles has some wonderful restaurants and shopping. A lot depends what you are looking for. As far as wineries there is none but there are some wonderful wine shops nearby. Bon Marche and BHV are within an easy walk. So much depends on what you want to eat or buy. If you can be mere specific. I will be happy to respond. La Maison de Verlaine, Chez René are some of my favorites. You may want to check some of the reviews on Trip Advisor as there are plenty of really good choices nearby. Hope this helps and enjoy!

How does one go about booking the shuttle to your hotel?
There is a subway station about a 3 minute easy walk away from the hotel called Maubert - Mutualité. I travelled from the train station Gare Du Nord (after taking the Eurostar from London). I used the Paris Metro app, it's very helpful and the trains are actually very easy to use. You can purchase a single ticket as you go just before getting on the subway at a kiosk or at the window (most people there speak English).

What are our room options for 2 adults and a 16 year old? Thank you
This can really only be answered by the hotel because their offerings will differ depending on how heavily occupied the hotel is at the time you wish to book. The rooms, like virtually ALL rooms in Paris, are small. So rolling in an extra bed will make things VERY tight. Most Parisian hotels are in very old buildings and no 2 rooms are exactly alike. They might have an option of one queen and one twin bed in a room....something to ask them (or any other hotel) directly.
