Reasonably priced, handily located, small hotel, 100 metres from Saint-Sulpice Metro station, just off Place Saint-Sulpice. About 20 minutes walk to Notre Dame. Our room was quite small (as were all the others I think), with en-suite bath and shower (hand-held and no curtain), to the rear of the hotel so it was very quiet. Tiny lift, with barely room...

We arrived to the hotel and find the smallest but cutest elevator ever! We have problem one night without hot water and the A/C is not cold enough. Despite the mishap, I rated it very good because the location is good and the friendliest and most helpful lady at the concierge. The rooms are spacious and modern. The big tall...

Great small hotel with great location. Rooms are big enough and cleaned once a day. Hotel stuff was very friendly. Nearby is many nice restaurants and bars but the area is very peaceful. I'm going to use this hotel again, absolutely.

Very convenient location : short walk to Notre Dame and the River Seine. Next to shops, restaurants and bakeries. Friendly service : I was able to check in early, and was greeted with a coffee and a smile by the front desk. Nice room : very clean and spacious, I was on the top floor with a view of the...

We stayed here for three nights and extended for the day of the fourth. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and nice. It was a reasonable size and had a view over the street. The hotel has a small lift big enough for two people of one person and a suitcase which was greatly appreciated given...

We loved our stay in this hotel near San Sulpice church in the Latin quarter. The folks at the front desk were most helpful in getting airport transportation in the midst of strikes and flooding. Small but comfortable rooms. The breakfast was not worth the money-- better to find a cafe in the neighborhood. Street full of restaurants around the...

It has been several times I have stayed in this tiny and well placed Hôtel. Even though rooms are very small, they have everything needed to be at home. Clean, neat and silent, staying on the front with a terrace where you have a nice sight to the wonderful Church of Saint Sulpice or at the rear where the interior...

I have stayed here the last two times I've been in Paris. The location is fabulous. Nearby is a metro, bus stop and many cafes. It is very close to the St Germain Blvd. A mono prix is close by to stock up on snacks for the fridge in the room. Look forward to my next visit. Elevator is tee...

Only had one lift which you couldn't fit in with your bag. Staff not interested. We looked for alternative accommodation the moment we arrived. Found better and cheaper. Falsely portrayed on Internet.

My son and I stayed here for 3 nights. The room was large, for Paris, and very clean and bright. It was cleaned each day. Beds were comfortable and as we were at the back of the hotel it was quiet at night. We did not have breakfast as there are plenty of cafes in the area, but the staff...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
