The hotel was in a good location, close to the river and Notre dame and walking distance to the louvre. nice staff members and good price. Rooms and bathroom were very small but it was okay for only a couple of nights..

This hotel is nothing like the pictures in the advert, the rooms are tiny and the decor is tired. The bathroom was poor and in need of a refurb and the heated towel rail didn't work. However the staff were pleasant, breakfast was as expected, the rooms were cleaned and bed made daily and the location was pretty good

Nicely located in the Latin Quarter, but a little off the very beaten tourist path. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms a modern, clean, and comfortable. Bed a little small if you are over 5'10". Bathroom was surprisingly spacious. There is a church kitty-corner from the hotel. I loved the ringing bells, but some may not. Elevator is quite...

The location is a home run. It is 30 seconds from a main train station, a 5 minute walk from the closest Big Bus/Local Train Station stop, and 10 minutes from the Louvre. The rooms are average but the hotel is a good value overall

Hotel is in a good location and within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions. There are a lot of shops and restaurants near by too. Didn't have breakfast here as it's cheaper to grab a croissant elsewhere. I was on the top floor in an attic room where there is literally a bed, a table and a wardrobe....

The rooms are cleaned daily & beds are comfy. The staff were nice & very obliging.Very very noisy at night & the stairs as you walk in are a nightmare to be greeted by as you walk in with heavy luggage.(reception is on the first floor) The wifi was slow & dropped out a lot.The hotel is adequate for a short...

I had written quite a long review but seems to have disappeared To make the story short: the location is one of the best The rooms are tidy but ridiculously small for two people ( no air conditioning ) The wifi was free but such a bother to get online every ten minutes At one point it wasn't working at...

In this hotel you will pay about the location, which really good regarding sight seeing in Paris. My room was small, but I wasn't expecting anything else for the price. There is no breakfast, and in any case better serving will be in the local coffee houses. I can recommend this hotel for singles or young couples, because of small...

I've been to Paris before and had my fair share of extremely small, doggy places but this was not the case. We stayed in a double superior room #208 and it was great. The room was a great size and so was the bathroom. The place is nit brand new but that's to be expected. It was definitely really good...

Yes the hotel is a bit on the old/small/cramped side... But the hotel has an amazing location and has a decent bedroom/bathroom (albeit very dated). The hotel is very transparent about what it can supply. When we arrived and I asked to change in the toilet the gentleman was very forthright that the toilet would be too small to change...

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
