Belleville / Père Lachaise
At the eastern edge of Paris lies Belleville / Père Lachaise, an understated wonderland of local treasures. Alongside the world-famous cemetery, family-owned delicatessens and cafés nestle between local stores and establishments. The richness of the population here has created a little Chinatown of Asian restaurants, and the area comes to life at night by a funky underground scene. Façades change from one street to another as one passes from white walled provincial homes to tall blocks and reconverted homes. The whole area is an inspirational mix of people from all corners of the world frequented by artists, students, immigrants, and Parisian families. Once home to supporters of the Paris commune, its rebellious nature is now offset by its rural charms.

Hi, Just wondering if anyone wouldn't mind helping out, what is the easiest way to get from paris Beauvais airport to the Nadaud Hotel? I'm Irish and it will be my first time visiting Paris so am not well versed on the transport system over there! Any suggestions and tips would be greatly appreciated. Niamh
From Beauvais airport to come to Nadaud Hôtel : First, you have to take this "navette", it's a bus. You will arrive at Paris, "Porte Maillot". Then, at "Porte Maillot", you take : - Métro line 1, Direction "Chateau de Vincennes", you stop at "Hôtel de Ville" - Métro line 11, Direction "Porte des Lilas", stop at "République", -Métro line 3, direction "Gallieni", stop at "Gambetta" station. At Gambetta station, you take the exit number 4 (on your right). Outside you will see Martin café, Nadaud hotel's street is just behind Martin café.Best regards. We are looking forward to seeing you at Nadaud hotel, Best regards Antoine Laval
