My partner and I stayed in this hotel as part of a romantic trip to Paris. The hotel is a cute, quaint establishment rather than an enormous monolith of a hotel. The staff are friendly and remembered our name/room number, which we found very endearing!...More
This is a very nice small hotel, and true gem in the heart of the city. The rooms are small but that's to be expected in Paris. The staff is fantastic, very personable, helpful and eager to offer advice, recommendations. Breakfast if quite good, rooms...More

The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small
gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.

I am sure this is too late for question but we always take the RER and get off at Port Royal --- about a 10 minute walk from there to hotel. We are in our 70s and can manage luggage, etc. without problem.
