Had a two night stay here in February. Paid 120e for the "Deluxe" room. The room was small, as is virtually every non-branded hotel room in Europe. Room consisted of two separate rooms for toilet & sink/shower. Toilet room was so tiny it was virtually impossible to use comfortably. I'm of average height and girth but those larger would struggle....

I stayed here after my normal two hotels were fully booked. The location is ok, a bit of trip to the nearest metro (Ecole Militare), The room was reasonably clean but very warm! The front desk were somehwhat friendly and helpful. I felt the breakfast at 12 euros was too expensive and was more than happy with a baguette or...

The hotel is a great little hotel and far exceeds the 2 star standard in my opinion. It was centrally located to local attractions and close to the metro. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. It is a good value for such a wonderful gem!

This was my second stay at this hotel, having stayed there in May 2005 also. What a great little hotel, with a super-helpful and friendly staff. Also, for the price, you can't find a better hotel for the spectacular location! Your view is the unbelievable Hotel des Invalides, location of Napoleon's tomb. (Still haven't been inside, but the grounds are...

I asked for a room with a view, and I was given a tiny room with a full size bed to share with my mother. I would have requested a different room if not for my mother who was too tired to move the heavy luggagees again... The rooms are tiny, beds are too small and uncomfortable, and even a...

Maybe the best value in Paris! The bedrooms are of the level of a 3 star hotel, the breakfast too, all is clean, the owners are so kind too, there is a free PC in the entrance hall; a quiet location close to all "Rive Gauche", in front of the Invalides, close to Eiffel Tower and rue Cler (market) not...

I needed a two star hotel or something near 80 euros a night at the most. I found the hotel through trip advisor and though the room and b-room were tiny (as it always happens in Paris) everything was clean and confortable. The staff was really nice, always smiling and helpful. Watch out: the elevator is tiny! Breakfast is great!

It's been two years since I stayed here with friends and I still feel compelled to let others know about my experience. Knowing that economical hotels would be a challenge to find in Paris I was only concerned about satisfying my basic criteria: clean, comfortable, convenient (the 3 C's), and quiet. Anything else would be a bonus. Hotel de France...

We stayed here for 2 nights during New Year. The hotel does not have its own website so making reservation was a bit worrisome. The hotel itself is okay, a typical small, old hotel rooms ubiquitously found in all 2 stars accommodation around Paris. A lift the size of large dumbwaiter, leave key at frontdesk policy, and damp bathroom with...

we stayed for three nights with 3 children ages 6-10. We were given 2 rooms with a door joining them, so we were connected but had privacy. the views from the rooms were beautiful, the rooms themselves small but attractive, small bathrooms, but a very nice tub, little fridge a big plus. the staff were wonderful, really going out of...
