We have traveling with a car in France. We want to stay in Paris. First of all we searched hotel with parking. This hotel saying that they have parking. But they don't have a own parking. You must to park in parking lot about 1km from hotel. So that's way its not good.

First off the staff, they were very helpful. We came in at 10 AM way early for a check-in; they probably saw how tired we were and they let us check in early. Then they also let us borrow an electric adaptor. Merci Beaucoup! The hotel breakfast was beyond our expectation. It was modest but had more than we need...

The hotel is small but cozy. It had everything you would need. The hotel staff is so helpful and went out of their way to make your stay perfect. The breakfast was European but had enough to get you through the day. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Paris. It was also located very close to...

When we arrived around noon at this hotel, our room was not yet ready for us. The clerk was very nice and he let us deposit all of our luggage in an office that would be locked up. This gave us the opportunity to start visiting Paris immediately. Bonus! When we came back in the evening, we noticed that everything...

Was here for a conference. Nice little hotel. Better than you typical french 3 star hotel. Modernish with a reasonably modern washroom. Shower is still on the small side for North Americans but serviceable nonetheless. Stayed on the top floor and the street noise was minimal. Situated in Grenelle. If you walk a block from the hotel you get a...

Brilliant location, minutes to Eiffel Tower. Spotlessly clean, staff very helpful. Quiet at night and the comfiest of beds. Close to metro and within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées. I would recommend this hotel.

Small room. Very small restrooms. Skinny me had trouble with the space inside the restrooms and shower cubicle. Built for dwarves and hobbits. But, that's what one has to expect in Paris. Clean restrooms though. No complains about the room. Large windows that opened to the street below. 15 minute walk to the Eiffel. 5 minute walk to the nearest...

My husband and I stayed a couple of nights and it was pretty nice. The room was quiet and clean, the front desk people spoke English, and it has the basic to have a pleasant night. It is near to everything and I strongly recommend it!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel de l'Exposition, a 3-star hotel in Paris, is located at the heart of the 15th arrondissement, where the workers involved in building the nearby Eiffel Tower had their lodgings. The moment you step into the reception area, the charm of the period paintings that decorate the walls begins to take effect. Produced in the 1950s, they have all been carefully restored. The large numbers behind the Pavillon (the hotel bar) recall the dates of the various expositions that have marked the history of the French capital. Among them, the 1889 universal exhibition which saw the birth of the Eiffel Tower, today the very symbol of Paris; the one in 1900 which inaugurated the first metropolitain underground line; the 1925 Art Deco Exposition at which the work of such innovative artists as Le Corbusier and Picasso were on show, and 1937, for Arts and Techniques... The theme of the hotel is echoed, further on, in a pretty showcase holding period photographs, books and items. Citroen car fans will enjoy sleeping in the vicinity of the former offices of the make of car with a chevron logo whose design office produced the famous Traction, 2 CV and DS. In an elegantly refined atmosphere, visitors can take advantage of all modern conveniences. Enjoy a moment spent in a corner of the cosy lounge, or order a drink from the bar (specially reserved for hotel patrons 24/24), perhaps taking advantage of the handsome collection of whiskies Le Pavillon has on offer. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but the breakfast buffet is served (7 to 10 am on weekdays, 8 to 10:30 am on weekends) in a very attractive vaulted room, with stone walls; one wall features a trompe-l'oeil painting on the theme of the Eiffel Tower. ... more   less
