We arrived at night to find the street outside mobbed with Algerian men, one who followed us in and asked us some bizarre questions which was a bit creepy. We were pleased though to be greeted by a nice man at reception who was very apologetic about giving away the room we had actually booked. We were put into a...

the night man is an absolute awful, rude and unhelpful man who speaks with disdain to all hostel guests and acts like his job is the Bain of his existence. ruined our stay in Paris, and although day staff were much friendlier the hostel was grotty and compact so this didn't make up for it. location was good, so I...

We had booked a room for 5 persons with wc for two nights and surprise surprise, when we arrived there was no wc in our room. The hostel was in a scary and shady area and we were afraid to be there all the time. In the second and last night of our stay, we went back to our small...

Friend Hostel was awful. It was in a horrible area. The street it’s on was FILLED with creepy men, who made comments at me and my friend as we walked by. The actual hostel was pretty run down. It didn’t have lockers to put our things in and it was NOT secure. Our bunk beds were really old and rickety....

The front desk at this hostel is staffed by the rudest, most hostile people I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. On the day of my check-in, my flight was delayed and I arrived two hours late. The man at the front desk had given my bed away, and when I explained that I was stuck at the...

But it was only at night, during the day there was no problem with it. There is a metro station (Barbès – Rochechouart) 50 metres in front of hostel, arriving to hostel is quite safe....

Do not book this hostel they will not have a record of your booking! The hostel is situated in a TERRIBLE area. We arrived at night and were met with rats, junkies, prostitutes and gangs that were considering whether to rape or mug you. In the foyer of the hostel there were 30 people in the same situation as us....
