We had a cute room with a double bed, a single bed, a little table and 2 chairs, a clothes rail and a sink (we thought we were getting a double bed only but the single was a bonus as more room's always nice). The bathroom is shared and it's basic but clean. The breakfast is tasty- pain au chocolat...

ROOM: clean but they don't change the bed sheets. In winter they don't turn up the heating so much. It was cold being in the room in pyjiamas. The walls were made with paper.... we got up very often during the night as we could hear people going to toilet (the room doors are noisy as well as the toilet...

Chose here as it is only 10-15 min walk away from Gare du Nord, very convenient as we wanted to catch an early morning train there. It's also very close to Anvers metro (good for metro travelling to other places) but the best thing is, it is very near Sacre Coeur! You may consider going there in the early morning...

I've been here for 3 nights with a friend, we had a twin room ensuite and it was great! We are two girls but we had no problem even at night in this area. The hotel is well located and clean, the girl at the reception is so nice. The walls are thin so it's easy to hear what they're...

Basic for sleeping and breakfast. The sound proof of the wall wasn't very good as we could hear the sound outside the door people hustling laughing. The reception service was friendly. Would be better if they have wifi, sometimes travelers need to check some info online.

This hotel was relatively easy to find, only about a 10 minute walk away from Gare du Nord train station. It is situated about 2 minute walk away from Anvers metro station which will give you links to the tourist attractions or you can walk which will take around 20 - 30 minutes (apart from Sacre Coeur which is in...

This isn't a fancy hotel, but it does the job. The people at reception are very helpful. Breakfast is served to you every morning by a sweet older man. It consists of a baguette, pastry, orange juice, and coffee. Delish! Our room consisted of two twin size beds, two small desks, and a cabinet, plus a bathroom. Beds were very...

So the only thing I have that is negative about this hotel is this, they advertise having kitchen facilities which was why I chose this place instead of going to cheaper accommodation that was rated the same. We thought okay, lets spend a few extra euros and save money on having to go out to eat. When we came back...

Well... It was a great hotel... Very friendly receptionist.:] Great location, near the underground, a stone's throw to most attractions. A cozy room on top floor, a romantic view from the window. Clean and nice. Well, it could have been warmer, though. Much warmer...;]

I stayed at this hotel with 3 of my friends last March. It is far from "Perfect" but good if you want to spend your days seeing Paris and just need a place to sleep and have breakfast. Breakfast was decent, with baguettes and chocolate croissants with coffee or juice. HOWEVER, be warned: when they say you can use the...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
