Hotel was good for our long weekend in Montmartre. Our garden room was quite small; the pictures in websites gives you different feeling. Room was cleaned everyday and It was ok in general. Tv had two english language channels (bbc news and cnbc). 24h reception was big advantage! We didn't find the breakfast necessary because of the great location of...

This is a two star hotel but offers everything you need for a Paris adventure! Rooms are small but clean, we got a good size bathroom. Our room faced into the garden courtyard so was quiet and good to sleep with window open. Close to 3 metro stations, 2 different lines. Montmartre is quite hilly so be prepared to get...

Hotel du Moulin is situated in the heart of Montmatre close to 3 metro stations (Abbesses, Pigalle and Blanche). It's clean and got everything you need. The staff is kind and the price is low. If you don't need luxury, but a good place close to everything this is the place. I'll definitely chose this hotel again, when I come...

Nice room for a few nights, pretty good value for the location. Friendly staff & clean and tidy rooms. Overall the hotel is quite nice for the price and this area. Simple but nicely furnished and modern. Recommended!

This was the pits of the earth ! on entering a Chinese man greeted us this was the only nice thing I can say. Room was like a match box, bed was stinking, shower filthy full of mould and the 'garden' was about 3foot! Had to leave and find a new hotel. Do not go to this place! I am...

We spent one night at Paris, hotel Du Moulin was very good for that. Hotel is near from subway station, in beautiful Montmartre area. Room was small, but clean and comfortable. We didn't eat breakfast. I can recommend that hotel.

The title of my review says it all. Very Parisian, small hotel in a small typical Montmartre street. If you know Paris, you will love it. If you don't know Paris, you will love it too. I recommend it. Greetings E.B.

This is a 2 star hotel, so it helps to keep expectations in check. My review keeps this in mind! The pros are that it is in a great location in Montmartre, and is very handy for two metro stations and Sacre Couer. There's also a few excellent restaurants in the area, such La Balancoire and Yin et Yang on...

Hotel Du Moulin is the perfect 2-star hotel located in the Montmarte area of Paris. For us it was the perfect location, close to two metro stations and a short walk up to the beautiful Sacre Coeur! It's small, old, and a bit quirky... It works perfectly if you are on a tight budget like we were. Just don't take...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
