a quiet little hotel on a busy street in Paris. Breakfast was lovely. room was maybe a little bit smaller than expected and quite difficult to find but overall it was a perfectly decent hotel for our trip!

Dear guest, Thank you very much for choosing Eugène en Ville for your last stay in Paris. We are glad to read you have appreciated our breakfast - two options, one for those in a hurry, one for those completely starved. We thank you again for your trust and hope to see you again soon. With our best regards, Eugène

The staff was friendly upon arrival, very polite and always greeting me with a smile. My room was bigger than expected-more than enough space for just me. Beautiful room with a beautiful view of the old building across the street and the shops down below. Nothing more perfect than laying in a comfortable bed smelling fresh baked bread in the...

Hotel in the 9th qtr. room is small but like most hotels in Paris. Washing basin is in the middle of the room, some people won't approve... breakfast is very very good! It might bring me back here! Eat at bio burger (hamburger) and momie burger (steak).

Shame of them!!! Stayed at Hotel Eugene En Vile for four nights and it was horrible.!!! I booked for a standard room and they gave us the smallest room, we couldn't even move, or put our stuff and the manager was rude to us, she didn't care. It was dirty. There was a woman checking the rooms and she didn't...

hotel is mysteriously themed, very dark and elegant. Room was small which is typical for Paris but furnishings were in good condition and the location was perfect. we did not have a car so relied on public transport although we did walk to Louvre, Arc and Eiffel tower all in the one day from the hotel. Breakfast was fabulous -great...

I have been 3 times at Eugene en Ville hotel, really nice and modern hotel. Strategic position in Rue La Fayette. For the first time I had bad experience. I stayed in a nice room 4 weeks before, so I asked if possible to keep the same room, but when I checked in I was assigned at another room in...

This hotel was exactly what I needed. Room was reasonably sized, bathroom and amenities were clean. Bed was comfortable and the hotel was centrally located to shopping and close to the metro. Easy to navigate the area. I would certainly stay here again.

This was our last hotel in Paris and we enjoyed staying here very much. The room was well designed and we loved the black walls and silver and gold features. The Location of this Hotel is amazing, close to the Metro, walking distance to The Louver, and the Opera District. Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An impromptu pied a terre or a Parisian holiday address for an extended stay, Hotel Eugene en Ville offers guests superior hospitality with spirited service. The emphasis is on creating a mixed palette of styles. The raw-finished walls and industrial furniture poke fun at more traditional features and appointments. Dark Victorian patinas, ornate mirrors and candelabras, soft, cosy armchairs and curios – all handpicked from antique shops and markets – create a style that is at once refined and iconoclastic. The chemistry is simply compelling. On the same eccentric register, a giant screen shows snippets of life inside a luxury hotel: an unconventional film that takes a witty look at an establishment that is well and truly frequented in every sense of the word. The hotel has inherited the sort of elegance that never seeks to look overly sophisticated. It possesses the kind of charm that always feels spontaneous: that truly Parisian effortless chic that Eugene holds the secret to. ... more   less
