After staying in Disney for a few days thought I would come to the centre of Paris and explore. Good location if you want to be in the centre about half an hour drive to the Eiffel tower and the louvre museum, but taxis were reasonable! hotel was located on a main street so was a little bit noisy with...

This wonderful little hotel is in the Marais Area and is very close to two Meteo stations making it a perfect base from which to explore Paris. The rooms are relatively small but well appointed, modern and with extremely comfortable beds. We only chose the breakfast option on our last morning, which we then released was a mistake, as it...

We have been here one year ago. Hotel is still nice even if looks like quality got worst, especially cleaness. Bathroom quite small but shower is big. Rooms small (as usual in Paris) and quite. Breakfast has quite large selection but quality so so. I stopped in the bathroom at the reception floor and it was quite a mess. Internet...

The room and elevator were very small, but usually space in Paris is limited. The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff is english-speaking and really helpful. The location is great as the hotel is situated very close to "republique" and "temple" metro stations and within walking distance to many attractions.

Small rooms. Nice hotel in the middle of it all. Great location, clean and modern rooms. But: very small and a penetrant perfume smell in the room.Smells like the cheap piña colada smell you can get for the car. No escape, too much for me.

As usual in Paris rooms are tiny. The first room I was given was in fact so small that once luggage on the floor there was no other way to navigate through the room than across the bed. That didn't surprise me and the room otherwise nicely designed & modern. Quiet towards the courtyard. Nasty smell off room odoriser -...

Good location, lots of restaurants and shops in vicinity. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms/corridors/lift is very tiny, room layout was smart however. Room is ok for one person for two nights with hand luggage only. For 2 persons and more luggage is no space. Easy to use in room safe deposit.

Great location staff very friendly easy access to get to places and very clean. Bathroom pretty small though for tall people. The airport shuttle was just perfect and the recommendations from the staff on where to eat locally was quite helpfull

Lovely clean hotel in a great location! We were initially given room 36 which was a very small room with small bathroom but fine. Unfortunately the shower water did not drain so we requested to move rooms. The staff kindly moved us into a room in floor 2 which felt much bigger, with a larger shower too. Shower is a...

Spent a couple of nights in this hotel as a solo traveller. The room was very small but I only went there to sleep so that wasn,t an issue. It came with a bathroom so that was all I need. Also had a safe in the room which I found it handy. Location is very good, just a short walk...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome home, welcome home! The Hotel Le Relais du Marais is, above all, a human adventure. One undertaken in 2001 by the Pirbay family around a favourite, although very ambitious, project to transform a modest hotel in the Rue de Turbigo into a chic and welcoming three star establishment. It’s a unique place of its kind. A place where it's good to be received, to spend time, to work. An address that is different from other hotels in Paris; distinguished by a strong sense of warmth, of welcome, of attentiveness to the needs of guests. An establishment whose commitment to quality does not detract from the hospitality offered, and whose contemporary decor does not lessen its historic charm. With the assistance of a firmly united team, loyal and friendly, the proprietors seek to transcend traditional hotel codes to shape the hotel of their dreams. One where there is always a kind word, a listening ear and personal attention awaiting guests. One where, far from any overtly commercial attitude and impersonally antiseptic atmosphere, everyone can feel at home while they are away from home. It’s a home from home. ... more   less

“As with Parisien hotels and apartments our room was the standard please do not expect it to be like your own bedroom at home unless you book a larger room. The room was very quite with no exterior noise the bed was comfortable and we both slept very well”
