My husband and I spent four evenings at the Luxembourg Parc. The hotel was recommended by a friend who has stayed there several times. We love the 6th e and this hotel is well situated for all that the 6th has to offer. The rooms are beautifully arranged and larger than you find in most Paris hotels. They are beautifully...

This beautiful intimate hotel was just lovely, the staff was wonderful and so helpful...close to everything! One day we left and turned right to see all the sights, the next we turned left to see the rest! Close to everything, walking distance to wonderful restaurants as well. Will definitely be going back! Loved Paris

My husband and I spent four nights at the Luxembourg Parc Hotel (June 27-July 1, 2012) and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is spotlessly clean, is beautifully decorated, has a great location, and a professional and extremely accomodating staff. The staff went out of its way to help us. For instance, before we left for France we asked them...

This small hotel in Saint Germaine is not luxurious but charming. Located on the left bank directly across from the Palace of Luxembourg Parc, it's a great alternative to the hotels on the right whose prices have soared out of control. But ask for a room on the upper floors with a view of the parc.

This was a return visit to our favourite place to stay in Paris and it was just as great as we remembered - beautiful rooms, lovely service, and a fantastic setting. I highly recommend this hotel for both romantic retreats and efficient business stays - Christian at the front desk was very helpful in securing a sought-after reservation for us...

My husband and I stayed here for three nights during our honeymoon and had a great experience! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the room had a lot of the charm, and the location was great. We really loved the area and being close to the Luxembourg Gardens. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Has elevator. Friendly staff. A little too far for walking to anywhere but Saint Germaine and Luxembourg Park, taxis recommended. Small, small rooms but big hearted staff. Nice linens and plenty of hot water. My room had a great bath tub but road noise if you opened up the windows for fresh air. It was a mixed bag but over...

Lovely small hotel, beautiful rooms and wonderful staff - I was so pleased with my choice of Hotel Luxembourg Parc as this was a special treat for my husband's first trip to Paris. Hotel is well located, gardens across the road, restaurants and fashionable (tres chic) shops located nearby. Rooms are small but exquisitely furnished, our bulky luggage did create...

Very, very comfortable, immaculately clean, larger room than most European city hotels, luxurious all-marble bathroom, excellent front desk service, very nice small bar, superb and reasonably quiet location right across the street from Luxembourg Gardens, easy two-block walk to some very nice restaurants, sweet breakfast room with excellent European breakfast. No hesitation at all about highly recommending it to family...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
