Hotel St-Pierre, Paris: Extremely good location and excellent price with very small rooms. We do not recommend it, unless you do not want to sleep during your stay. The mattress had huge depressions, and the only way to sleep was each one of us 2 staying quietly at each very edge of it. Worse, when we asked at the front...

I have been to Paris many times, but this was my first stay in the Latin Quater. I chose Saint Pierre because of the great reviews and I wasn't disappointed. It is a wonderful small hotel with a great location in a quiet little street off the Boulevard Saint Michel. The area is wonderful and the room was clean and...

The hotel boasts a tiny elevator for one, a TINY shower ( i am a female of average height and weight and could not turn around) but this is typical for Paris. What isn't typical, was the newly renovated and clean bathrooms, immaculate room, and great location that I received!! Do yourself the favor and splurge for the double room...

I searched a whole month for a hotel in Paris which were well located, not more than 90 euros and obviously, clean and comfortable. If you are in the same position I was, stop right now, you've found the hotel. Location: between Saint Germain and Quartier Latin. Just perfect. There are two subway stations, 2 blocks far each. One takes...

After reading many positive reviews, I reserved a room in March for 6 nights in September. I then read 2 negative reviews and was very concerned. I am so glad we did not change our reservation! Not only is the location great as everyone mentions, but we found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean,...

The hotel is in a very convenient location in the Latin Quarter. Beyond that , it leaves much to be desired. The front desk staff is not friendly or courteous at all. Items listed as standard for each room on the hotel website do not exist: e.g. no minibar in each room, no wi-fi in the hotel, no loaning guests...

We just returned from our 10 days holidays in Paris. I don't know how could I book this " hotel". We've never seen anything like this. My shower at home bigger then entire room in hotel. You just physically not able to take a shower ( size : 2 feet by 2 feet). Same, when you go to to toilette....

Amazing place. I was here on an academic research project at the end of January and it couldn't have been a better base for me to do my research. Its small and there are little frills, but the staff was exceptionally friendly (for Paris at least) and the location is ideal. Room was very clean, although a tad bit cold....

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
