This hotel is basic but is very nice. The friendly and helpful English speaking staff make it a special experience. The room is small but comfortable with a good shower. Location is great, close to Notre Dame and a metro station. Look no further, we were happy. Hopefully, you will be too.

We were three friends staying for three nights in Saint Pierre. I had a single room with shower, but without a toilet. My room cost 73 Euros (without breakfast). All these rooms are on the 7th floor, but there is a small lift. All rooms have air-conditioning which proved to be vital as there was a heat-wave in Paris end...

I've stayed at a number of hotels on the Left Bank, but they've all gone up in price so much we needed to find a new one. For 90 euros, this is a really good deal in a very good location. The room was tiny and attractive, and they managed to fit in a toilet and tiny bathroom and small...

This is a great budget hotel. I almost decided not to write a review since I sort of thought to keep this one to myself, I don't want prices to go up and vacancy down! This hotel is very well located, clean, and very cheap for central Paris . Rooms are small, very small,, but clean, and bathrooms are new...

There are a few things to remember when you go to Paris and one of them is that it is a very old city. If you want to stay in the old town, you will be most likely staying in the old building which is a little too small, a little too noisy, etc. Of course you can stay in...

We stayed at the Hotel Saint Pierre as part of an independent group. The hotel is in a great location-5 minutes from the RER B/ Cluny or the Odeon metro stops. There is a Starbucks to the left or right, the Cluny museum is 5 minutes away and there is a Monoprix across from the Cluny. As 'one bag' travelers,...

Hotel Saint Pierre is a charming hotel in a pretty good location in central Paris. Thesingle accomodations left a lot to be desired. The room was definitely not new and fresh. Also, the shower was ridiculously small. I had to do some serious maneuvering to get into and out of the shower. The price was right for a solo person...

This hotel has only one advantage: it is in the city center and close to everywhere. Everything else is very bad. The hotel is DIRTY. It was a two star hotel but it should also be cleaned. The rooms are very small (okay, again it is a two star hotel, so this is acceptable) BUT I could not fit in...

As reported, the location is excellent, the rooms are small, and the breakfast leaves something to be desired. At the front desk, for two successive nights we were told that there was probably going to be a strike and we would not be able to get to the airport via the Metro and RER. Conveniently, they said they could arrange...

For those who still hesitate whether to consider Hotel St Pierre or not - if you are not extremely demanding, value great location and don't sepnt much time in the hotel room - DEFINATELY DO! The hotel staff is very polite and nice, people on the reception (I've dealt with Mohammed) speak good English (though I spoke French with him)....

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
