The recommendations were so good, that I chose this hotel than apartment near. But the hotel is prepared only for Paris-lovers who will not take care about the room. The biggest minuses were: -the clean lady could enter and entered the room when it was locked, we were inside and there was a sign 'do not disturb'!! -the water in... More

On arrival and first impression, I had high hopes for L'hôtel Taylor and really wanted this to work out well. Unfortunately, there was no hot water (told they were awaiting a technician) and the bed was too soft. The room is microscopic and par for the course for Paris. For us, it was a short easy walk to two metro... More

Forget all the bad reviews you've read!! Just home from a fantastic stay at this hotel!! Can't fault it in any way! I came with a friend and requested a twin room. Upon entering the room we saw two (very comfortable) good sized single beds, with a well equipped bathroom, and beautiful floor length Windows that opened on to Taylor... More

The hotel is conveniently located on a small central Paris street within walking distance of 4 metro stations. There are good places to eat nearby. The entrance area was undergoing renovation when we were there. The staff were friendly and helpful, although there was a good 30 minute wait to check in. Now for the bad part. The first sign... I booked one night on business at this hotel. From outside it looks nice but on closer inspection the hotel has had very bad renovation work carried out recently and this was evident by the missing skirting boards, unfinished paint work and 80s bathroom see attached photos. Generally the hotel was rough around the edges and if you need to... More

For Paris very reasonably priced, clean, courteous. Breakfast is rarely included in Paris hotels, but this one was more reasonable and just as good as others. Lots of cafés, restaurants in the area, inc . a very good indoor market, marché St.Martin.

I booked this room at the last minute after an unexpected change of plans. I was very happy with that whole process. The room was lovely, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the area, near Republique and very close to St Martins Canal. The only problematic bit was that the lift needed attending to, which I... More
