We booked with Expedia - and didn't know the name of the Hotel, but having done this in London I wasn't concerned! We were a party of 4 (2 Adults & 2 Children 13yrs & 8yrs) and stayed in a Family Room. The room was a good size - with the kids sleeping on a properly sprung sofa bed. For...

We stayed here for 3 nights in a family room - booked through Hotwire. Family rooms were clean, small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, similar size to airport hotel family rooms. Breakfast was expensive but because the kids ate free it was worth it. The hotel is renovating - we were surprised not to have been told but...

The hotel is conveniently located and accommodations are clean and relatively spacious. I stay here a couple of times a year at least. This time I had a backpack stolen while waiting close to reception with my luggage. Staff seemed to suggest this was not unusual and said they had no access to security camera footage. Their response seemed very...

We just had a delightful time at this hotel. It is well located within walking distance of many Parisian sights. It is right opposite the metro but no noise. Also a little bakery two doors down for fresh baked pastry with your early morning coffee

This hotel is so convenient to the Montparnasse train station. Staying only one night for business before heading out on the local train system this hotel was perfect. I had a newly renovated room and it was very large and comfortable for Paris. Cute painting on the walls and lovely staff!

Stayed at this hotel Nov 10 to 14. Service is excellent and the room size is much larger than regular Paris hotel. I booked ahead and the price is very reasonable. We will stay the next time we are in Paris.

This neighborhood has within walking distance dozen of theaters such as Gaite Montparnasse, Petit Montparnasse, Bobino, Edgar etc. It is also next to the streets of Rue du Montparnasse and Rue d'Odessa where the best creperies are located. 5 min walk to Montparnasse railway station and the tower. My colleagues and I stayed here for 4 nights this past week and the hotel was sufficient for our trip. The rooms are small, but that is to be expected in Europe. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains on the window help keep all light out for a good night's sleep. The staff was very attentive and helpful...

I booked this both because I'm an Accor club member and because of its fantastic location. Very close to Gare Montparnasse, but tucked away on Gaite. I had my two nieces staying with me, and we got a large queen bed and a pull out sofabed. The room was spacious and comfortable. Nice bathroom; sink was clogged but the hotel...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
