The downstairs clerk was being super difficult with any request. The internet not working was a big pain for me as I needed to get online. It was the equivalent of sleeping in the metro but at least in the metro I would have gotten SFR Mobile. The service and effort at this hour, especially if you have an issue,...

I stayed one night at hotel Neptune in September. It is well located, close to Place D'Italie metro station. Its very much a cheap (for Paris) and cheerful type of hotel. Room was a bit dark, bathroom was OK. It's fine if your on your own and looking for somewhere (fairly) cheap. You'd be making a big mistake t ouse...

The hotel is located near Place d'Italie. It is a simple hotel. It is clean, the bathroom is fine and the breakfast (no buffet, everything is fixed) is good enough. Bathroom amenities available. It is OK if you travel alone for brief periods and you do not have special needs. No elevator.

The rooms were very small and old fashioned. Had a creepy look. Location of the hotel is good, but nothing else. Breakfast is not offered at all, and they charge 83 euros/night. This hotel does not have a lift. Receptionist will keep the keys whenever you leave the hotel. If you return late, then wait for them to wake up....

As we were two ladies travelling together we made sure we had booked a twin room for the night we were staying. We had paid 90 euros for the room through booking.com. When we arrived we again asked the receptionist to confirm that there were two beds in the room. She looked at the computer and confirmed that there was....

At around 70 euros a night, in a fairly good location, cannot complain. Decent clean rooms, very basic bathrooms but clean and efficient. Basic no-frills or thrills. If you don't want to spend much and just looking for basic accomodation then this ticks the box.

We stayed in Neptune hotel for 3 nights and we were quite happy with everything. The room was small, modest and not particularly modern in design, but looked exactly as the photos posted on their website so no surprises. It was rather small with a very tiny wardrobe, small table and a chair, just ok for a short stay. A...

“The rooms at the front are warmer then the rooms at the back. Rooms at the back have the view the wall of the other building.”

“You have no way of knowing that what you book is what you will get so if you don't want a double bed be warned that a camp type folding bed is their version of a twin. You might try and ask for a room on a lower floor to at least make the trip to complain a bit easier.”
