Arrived from a trip across the channel by train, short train trip from the Grand Nord. Small personnel hotel. Friendly close to Notre Dame and other attractions. Just walk outside the front door and turn right and explore. Smaller rooms but it doesn't matter as you are just sleeping there. Get out and explore the city. Bus right at front...

Havibg spent time in this area of Paris in the past I really enjoyed the location of the hotel. Not the most spacious or luxurious hotel by any means, but for the price I had (80€ excl breakfast) it was more than acceptable.

We stayed at Hotel des Mines some years ago and so we decided to stay there again just recently because of its great location and good value. We were delighted to see that it has had some recent refurbishment. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would recommend this charming little hotel for anyone wanting a few days...

We just had a very pleasant 4 night stay at Hotel des Mines. Its location is perfect, right by the Luxembourg Gardens and the RER B train line to and from both CDG Airport and Gare du Nord train station. There are very good small restaurants close by: L'Estrapade, Le Timbre, La Bastide Odeon, Le Bistrot des Campagnes. It is...

Rooms are very small. My shower was so small that I had to step outside the shower to soap myself. WiFi is functional, but very slow at times. Everything is clean, but a bit a frayed. This is not high end luxury pampering. However, the location is excellent, next to the Luxembourg Gardens and the Latin Quarter, right on a...

This was our first trip to Paris, and it was booked through a package with Transat. What a gift it was that we were booked into the Hotel Des Mines! Some of the front desk staff is a little reserved, but Clement (my apologies if I have misspelled your name!) was fantastic. He always had a ready smile, was helpful...

This is a really wonderful hotel, perfect location, you can smell the flowers in the Luxembourg gardens, and the staff is very caring and attentive. We found our room to be more spacious than many European hotels. The best thing Imcan say is we were waylaid in Bayeux by an unexpected hospital stay, and even though the policy is no...

We just had a very pleasant 5 night stay at Hotel des Mines. Its location is perfect, right by the Luxembourg Gardens and the Metro Line to and from both CDG Airport and Gare du Nord train station. There are several very good small restaurants close by. It is also on bus route 82 that goes to the Eiffel Tower....

2nd floor - double and 2 singles. worked well for my family. I went out and got breakfast at a bakery only a few minutes away and fresh OJ at the grocerie next door and was able to save 30 Euros/day rather than the nice breakfast offered (10 Euro/pp). Rumbles from metro - but didn't bother us. Small but comfortable,...

Stayed at Hotel des Mines for 7 nights in September 2015. Per previous reviews, it is an excellent location for parks, historical museums and sights, access to RER and metro stops. Average quality furnishings and size of room, although housekeeping staff were attentive and efficient. Breakfast was adequate but for same price one could do as well or better at...
