We stayed for a cheap weekend in Paris and although we've stayed in some low priced and low quality places before (and better ones) this one could be miles better for the price with a bit of attention and some investment. Our room was on the 4th floor of a main road. The room was so tiny you couldn't sit...

I look no further than the Avalon now during trips to Paris. If you are planning on spending most of your time in your suite in honeymoon mode, this might not be the place for you, but for travellers looking for friendly staff, clean rooms with decent facilities, a good price and a really convenient location, it's hard to beat...

I have stayed here 2x, but this last time will be my last! We had several issues. There was a gentleman walking around at night knocking on every door asking for a phone charger. He woke up some of the group I was with! I went to complain to the night manager and he yelled at the guy, but they...

Adequate small central hotel near Gare du Nord. Breakfast is help yourself with large selection of different items from which to select. Lift to all floors. Reception staff thought we had booked one double room when we had booked two singles. It made us laught as we are ladies of a certain (pension) age! Hotel fine for a brief stay.

200 yards to Gare du Nord [Eurostar]. clean, well decorated, helpful staff, typical continental breakfast and comfortable beds. 20 minute walk to Sacre Coeur and Monmartre, convenient for RER and Metro. Would certainly be my first choice for any future visit to Paris.

My son and I stayed at Hotel Avalon in April 2017 and it was a very cosy hotel with great service - we stayed in room 22 that was more like an apartment complete with a kitchen, bathtub, fast wifi and a big screen tv. our room was on a side street so quite for being in a busy part...

Stayed here one night as close to Gare du Nord. While the room was bit small, that is Paris! The check in was friendly and the room was clean, bathroom modern and room quiet. Convenient for walk to Montmatre during the afternoon and then an easy Metro ride down to the Seine for dinner and a 7 minute walk to...

I paid about A$350 for a separate room for our daughters (for 2 nights). They didn't want to share a room with us. Our room was a decent size but OMG the room my girls got was a tiny shoe box. Barely any space between the two single beds. Their suitcases were hard up against the wall and still touching...

Whilst we received early check add habe stayed here previously it would be our last time. The room we had was ridiculously small. Not coffee/ tea making and the lifts very dodgy meaning constantly using stairs. Very noisy but it's the room size that got us. Close to a lot of restaurants and gare du nord make it ideal to...
