Great neighborhoid. Fantastic deck with spectacular view. Good common areas for socialisation. Nice sized rooms. I stayed in a 4 person en-suite. Beds were comfy. Room had a view of the Sacre Couer but black out curtains and nice mattress made afternoon nap possible. Breakfast was a good value if you had time.

The hostel is in a good location with nice restaurants and cafes close by, the staff were also really friendly and helpful. However the bedroom was absolutely freezing and there is a bar next to the hostel which plays music extremely loudly until the early hours of the morning making it very difficult to sleep.

The hostel was clean and was fine for a short stay. The staff were helpful and recommended a few local cafes go try. I didn't check out the bar, as I didn't realise it was in the building next door. It's a small hostel with a basic kitchen and no social common room area. It has a lift that works....

I stayed at this hostel for just one night, but it had everything I needed; a comfy bed, a hot shower and lovely personal! Especially the american guy working the nightshift was very helpfull. The bar next was not the best, but at least you got a free drink and shot.

Even with earplugs and a bed on the third floor, the noisy patrons of the bar next door kept me from going to sleep. Then after 20 minutes of sleep, I was awakened by pounding on the door by the front desk. It was after midnight and he was with a guest who had just arrived! I was in a...

2 girlfriends and I stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it!! We wanted a social environment but not just partying and that's exactly what we got. We stayed in a 8 bed mixed dorm and it was very spacious. It's in a beautiful location right below the Sacre-Coeur in the picturesque Montmarte. The front desk man was always...

Very friendly staff, and helpful. But it's located on a very small dirty street in Montmartre, and Zone 18 is known to be unsafe in Paris, so it feels unsafe when coming back late at night. 4 Ensuite room is spacious, and view from the window is great. The facilities are a bit old, for example, the hairdryer in the...

I stayed for 2 nights and I stayed in annex. Pros 1. Very clean and neat+Renovation 2. Double lock 3. 'Basilique du Sacre-Coeur' is near to the hostel. You can see if you go 10m away. 4. There are many "BEST tasty" bakeries and around the hostel. I recommend that you go outside to eat breakfast. 5. Price is cheap...

Spent my last night in Paris here because I knew I wanted to be in Montmartre and Le Village had decent reviews. I really enjoyed my stay here, found it to be clean and thought the staff was helpful. Plus the location is great. I stayed in a four bed dorm and we had a perfect view of Sacre Coeur...

Decent hostel located in a great location. The check in staff was very courteous and helpful; they also allow free baggage storage before and after checking in or out. Our room had a bunk bed and a single, great for our party. Ensuite bathroom had shower and toilet in decent condition. Rooms were small with no frills. Decent wifi. Rooms...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
