I've stayed here several times and recommend it to my friends who are visiting Paris for the first time. The staff is very accommodating and go out of their way to make your visit enjoyable. Some of the rooms are a little funky, but I think that adds to the charm of the hotel. It's close to all the touristy...

Stayed at this hotel twice. First room, a double, the bathroom ceiling was caving in over the shower. Second room, single, one of the drapes wasn't even hemmed, never had been it was so frayed. Rooms are round a courtyard, noisy till almost midnight one visit. Kitchen not very clean, fridge dirty, breakfast choices not worth the money. Location ,...

Having read the reviews after making a reservation I approach this stay with trepidation. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It is a great location within walking distance of some nice bars and restaurants. The various staff at different times, there is 24 hour access, were helpful to varying degrees depending on their level of English. Make an effort...

We’ve been charged an extra 103 euros on my credit card after we left and came home to US. Guess what- my room was #103. Coincidence??? I don't think so! When I tried to contact them I got – Pardon, Don’t speak English. Bunch of rude and lying crooks.

This hotel was booked by a co-worker of my wife. When we checked in the gentlemen at the desk just gave us a key on a Metal Bar and never even had us sign anything. No elevator, no A/C, no safe and the bathroom was filthy. I understand european hotels but this was horrible. After we got settled we decided...

On a tight budget and needed a hotel close to Gare Montparnasse as I had an early train. Found this to be a nice little place, clean with modern deco and room equipped with all necessities. Check-in and out was friendly and efficient. Overall pleasant and comfortable stay. Not suitable for family groups but good for singles, couples and business...

Before arriving we where very anxious because of the other revious that we had read. Everything though was great! The room was clean and the cleaning lady came every day and gave us new towels. We had wifi access on the second floor. It was close to the metro station(around 10' walk), restaurants and supermarket. We only thought that the...

This hotel was in a decent area of Paris, but was poorly managed, unfriendly, closet sized rooms..noisy, overpriced and recommended by "Trip Advisor" I spent $790.00 US for a 5 day stay..one person and couldn't move around the room. Very noisy til 1:00AM..mixed hotel and residence....One of the worst hotels I've stayed in in Europe!!!

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
