Came in out of the cold without a reservation on a Friday night, got a nice reasonable rate. Clean quiet room, a bit small but cozy. The eating area was a bit tight on space, but decent. The personnel was excellent, helpful, friendly. Nothing fancy but fine.

I hestitate between rating it 3 or 4. It was definately a good price for the location, and it was clean. There is no extras (sometimes there's coffee/tea/bottle of water/paper/pen), but they aren't really needed and I suppose this keeps the price down and reasonable for Paris. It was quiet except the morning garbage truck. The man of the receptionist...

I stayed in this hotel while studying abroad for two weeks with my school. It's a budget hotel, but it was very clean and in a safe neighborhood. Very small rooms- to be expected in Europe. Breakfast was good, same things every day, and loved the espresso machine. Not a lot of space for clothes/suitcases if you plan on staying...

Nice and friendly hotel very well located in Montparnasse, so within easy reach of it's many restaurants, cafes, cinemas, metro and city parks. Though the double bedroom we had was a bit small, it was very clean and tidy. We surely will come back there next time we'll visit Paris again.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were very helpful. However, the location was not such convenient - about 15 minutes walk from Gare de Montparnasse or 8-10 minutes from the closest underground station. If you have heavy bags to carry, this is an issue to consider. Meanwhile, the hotel equipped with no water heater or any coffee/tea facility....

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. Room was very small but the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was small too but clean and in great working condition. Buffet breakfast was good value. Reception staff friendly and helpful.

Looks like renovated. Actually nice style. Breakfast is also nice. But the room (No. 7) is tiny and in another part of the building. The stairs to the room are really small to go up with luggage is not possible. As it is an add-on room it is freezing cold. Only heating is an air conditioning that goes on an...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
