Fantastic boutique hotel. The room was superb! Breakfast included breds, cereals eggs and coffee. Great location! The bedroom featured a round bed, and fancy lighting everywhere. The tub/shower was fantastic. Despite its location, it was very very quiet. It was close to the metro and in a good location.

The hotel is beautiful; the staff very professional. The hotel is located next to Republique, which is an interesting quarter of Paris, and not far from le Marais. Rooms are nice and clean, but the rooms of first category are simpler (though comfortable) than many of those pictured.

very clean and good service, not too far from center. Room decor was bizarre, like a sleazy night club. Admittedly we were in the cheaper rooms on the top floor, but everything was painted black, with the bedroom having gold stripes and plastic chandeliers. It must have been designed by a man as there was nowhere to sit down at...

Dear Guest, We thank you for taking the time to share your experience and opinion about your last stay in our hotel. We are really glad you liked our service, the cleanliness of our room and the location. The hotel was designed by two women, one architect and one decorator ; we truly regret the decoration of our Gold room,...

Very clean beautiful hotel, however rooms are very small and somehow we triggered the fire alarm off by having a shower. Staff were excellent and extremely friendly especially the young man who was working on reception at night, he makes a good hot chocolate! ;). Overall great stay but wish the rooms were a bit bigger (somewhere to put your...

Had yet another wonderful stay at hotel Angely. We returned after a trip in April as we loved the location, service and beautiful rooms. We decided to go for the suite for our visit which was just lovely. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bath amazing. The service here is great and we would definitely return again.

My husband and I always opt for boutique hotels when we travel and this hotel was perfect. The staff were amazing, spoke immaculate English (as I struggled with my French phrase book) and were very helpful. The room (Dahlia 15m²) was a perfect size for us for our 3 night stay. Breakfast was a great continental spread although a little...

The hotel is in a great location, near Republique and just north of the Marais district. The street is quiet, adjacent other boutique hotels and very near to a supermarket, bars and restaurants. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and the room was lovely. Definitely romantic and one that is style for the evening rather than the morning. My...

This small but very clean, stylish and conveniently located hotel is a great place for a romantic few days away. There was a warm welcome upon arrival. A lot of thought has gone into the design of the rooms and en-suites which (like many Paris hotels are not massive). It is on a quiet road in a reasonable area of...

Arrived at this hotel to a Warm welcome and it is in a great location and very clean, however at 5am the fire alarm went off (which is not the problem, proves it works) after rushing to get ready the smell of fire and smoke was blatant. We went to reception to be told by the night staff that it...

Dear Guest, First we would like to thank you for sharing your opinion with other readers about your latest stay in the Hotel Angely. Staying in Bastille / Oberkampf

Neighbourhood Profile
Bastille / Oberkampf
Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s at night this area really comes to life. Students and young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait for coveted tickets during the day. Towards Republique, skateboarders practice their tricks while others chill out at the square. If you’re looking for late-night revelry, this is your neighbourhood.
