First of all this hotel is in the heart of quartier Latin Saint Germain district at 100 meters from beautiful Luxembourg park. The hotel is a small hotel with comfortable and modern rooms. Breakfast is fresh and generous, wifi is finally good.... I recommend suite from the last floor with little terrace overviewing paris ... very Charming ! No restaurant...

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, Thanks you for your kind review about Hotel Le Senat. Hotel le Senat is definitly not a palace, we try to give a feel home and it is always a big pleasure to know that we have succeeded. The view from the Duplex terrace is always amazing with all the Paris's roofs and monuments. Wifi is...

My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary Sept 28- Oct 3 and stayed with Hotel le Senat. The room was so nice and in the case of Room 12, large. Nice court yard. Better than the room was the staff. The were so helpful and patient. We asked for ice every day and they couldn't have been nicer in...

We stayed in a nice fifth floor (deluxe?) room for three nights (we believe it was an upgrade from the superior room we reserved) and 101 for one night at the end of our trip. Room 101 was roomy enough (for Paris) but the ambience was just ok. The natural lighting was just ok. Both rooms faced an interior court...

Dear Valued Guest Thank you for reviewing your stay at Hotel Le Senat. Room 101 is a Deluxe room with a view on the courtyard, but with less natural light than the rooms with a street's view . Deluxe rooms are always on the back of the hotel, and aremore spacious than Superiors rooms. Ideally located in the heart of...

Great hotel for a weekend break in Paris - located in a lovely area, near to Luxembourg station for the RER (to CDG and Orly airports) and Odeon metro station. Loads of restaurants, cafes and bars within walking distance. The hotel itself is stylish and boutiquey, our room was small but that's expected in Paris and it wasn't a problem...

Dear guest, Thanks you for nice review. About room size, your room was a Deluxe room bigger than Superior room, more smaller than Suite room. If you would like to come, it should be better to reserve a Suite room if you need more space. Smartphone is free and you can use it in Paris and you can call somes...

Very nice hotel. Great location in a very nice neighborhood. Many restraints in the area. Only a couple of blocks from the Metro. They provide a cell phone to use during your stay for maps, city guide, and Internet.

Stayed here on a long weekend in Paris. Easy to get to from Gare du Nord (three stops and a short walk from Luxembourg station) and surrounded by lots of very good restaurants. Rooms not huge, but fine for what we needed. Got a good deal from The Guardian Escapes, and the only flaw was the fact that the hotel...

Great small hotel close to Odeon. Very good for visiting notre dame and the river and Hemingway walk haunts. The hotel has upper rooms with views across Paris and the service is excellent - we got great advice on restaurants and attractions. Best ever advice was to hire private boat which took us for two hours on the seine with...

We just returned from Paris, and stayed at Hotel le Senat for the third time. The location is perfect, just steps from the Luxembourg Gardens, close to everything but on a nice quiet street. The rooms are typically Paris-sized but very comfortable and attractive. The biggest attraction for me, though, is the wonderful staff. They can't do enough for you....

Nice neighborhood for walking. Charming, helpful staff. After the accident they were tremendously accommodating.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Le Senat for four nights. The hotel looks somewhat unassuming from the front, however had a very boutique and comfortable feel on the inside. Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
