This is a chain hotel in Montmartre region. Although the location is not in the central Paris tourist region, it is very close to the Metro Station of Line 4 & 12 which you can go to different sight-seeing point very easily. Also, with a 1 min. walk, you can access a big supermarket as well as a pharmacy shop,...

Just checked out after 2 nights. Hotel very clean and functional. Close to the metro and only 2 stops from Gare Du Nord. Need to mention that the receptionist Alex (Alexandre in full) is extremely friendly, professional and reponsible. While the surrounding may seem "rough", it is in fact very safe. Can cause cultural shock though for those sweet and...

We have just returned from a weekend stay at this Hotel and had a great time - well placed for Montmartre sightseeing and with the Metro a two minute stroll away, for seeing the rest of Paris. Our room was upgraded to 'garden view' as ours was not ready on arrival and we found all the staff very polite and...

The hotel has very obviously been recently refurbished and I suspect that many reviews were aimed at it under it's old name of Doree? The hotel is not in the best of areas of Paris but most people know that Montmartre is not a great area so don't go if you are in doubt. The hotel itself has obviously just...

After a bit of a dodgy start (staff tried to switch us from double to twin), hotel turned out to be really nice, with good clean rooms (all services worked really well - inc aircon) and were cleaned very efficiently each day of our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful and didn't make a fuss. The best thing about...

This is not one of the top-of-the-class Best Western hotels, but somehow it meets the basic requirements set by the brand's quality standards. Small rooms, we had one of the largest and inside I did not even have enough space to properly open my suitcase..the bathroom was even smaller in comparison, so small that there was no space for the...

We, three middle-aged, parochial sisters, took our very old mother to Paris. We chose Montmartre because we had a very tight budget and Best Western was good value. The area is not a posh part of Paris but we explored and grew to loved it. We found plenty of places to eat and the hotel is just near the Metro...

We had a lovely stay here. The hotel is modern and very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful (especially Moroccan Alexander on Reception - he was lovely). We decided to stay here as it was close to Sacre Coeur (about 10 mins walk). Although it was in the red light district, we were fine and my partner...

My husband and I took our friends to Paris for the weekend we found the hotel well positioned only 2 Metro Stops from the Gare de Nord and well placed for all the tourist sites in Montmartre. Easy to get the Metro for the rest of Paris as well. The staff were excellent, spoke very good English and could advise...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
