Thank you to the Hotel Magellan for upgrading our room to a courtyard view during our 12-night stay in Paris. Our room was absolutely immaculate with a big window that opened up to the courtyard. The bed was so comfortable and the air conditioning was amazing. Breakfast was pretty good and we were able to enjoy it outside in the courtyard most mornings. Although the breakfast was a buffet, the breakfast room had wonderful staff that attended to our every need such as bringing us fresh coffee, orange juice, etc. The rooms in the hotel do not have fridges, which we found very challenging during the hot summer days. We weren’t able to bring any food to our room and had to drink warm drinks most of the time. Luckily there was a supermarket around the corner where we were able to buy cold drinks. The hotel had a little bar downstairs but the price of drinks was expensive compared to the supermarket. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area and a little far from the major tourist attractions (the closest attraction was the Arc de Triomphe at 1.2 km away). At first, we were a little upset for booking a hotel so far away but once we learned the metro and bus system, which didn’t take us long and is super easy, we were just a ride away from everything. The biggest plus is that after a busy day of sightseeing in Paris amongst thousands upon thousands of tourists and noisy traffic, we were so happy to come back to our peaceful area. The only drawback to staying in a residential area was that there was nothing to do at night - no shopping, no nightlife, restaurants were so-so and closed early.

We stayed at Hotel Magellan at the end of August , travelling from Toronto. We purchased the package trough Air Transat that included flight, hotel and transfer from the airport to the hotel.
We were very happy with their services as well as the hotel choice.
Hotel Magellan is an amazing hotel, extremely clean, I would even say spotless! We loved the breakfast in the morning, always fresh and we were happy with the variety of food. We loved the fact we could sit outside and enjoy our breakfast on the terrace. The service was excellent!!!! Once again we were blown away with the cleanliness!
Location is also great!
Hotel staff was always helpful and very nice !
We would highly recommend this hotel!
We we were beyond happy with our choice !

Room is very comfortable, but building of my room is little bit ahead, and it is hard to find out. Simple layout (map) will be helpful to understand for me.
The hot water from the shower spread over the whole body and it was very comfortable.

Our flight with Easy jet was on time and we used a pre booked car to take us to the hotel. Very nice looking hotel, stylish entrance and reception. Warm welcome on arrival and bag drop off if you arrive prior to 1400.
Our room was on the 5th floor 504. This was a very compact twin room with a slim wardrobe, tea and coffee making facilities a small desk and compact shower room. Our shower leaked. But otherwise adequate. Maid service was every day items replaced excluding the water which which we only received on arrival.
This is not a luxury hotel so if this is what you’re looking for I’d avoid this hotel. Breakfast was included and consisted of continental items such as croissant, pan au chocolate, fruit, toast, baked beans and sausages. Fresh coffee, tea or chocolate with freshly squeezed orange juice available all very nice.

Great little hotel, very clean, rooms small but have everything you need. More modern than we expected. TV only has one English Channel but we were able to connect our phones to it and watch Netflix when recovering our feet from all the walking! Beds really comfy and clean. Shutters on windows to make it really dark in mornings! Bathroom great with waterfall shower head and additional shower head. Towels changed when required.
Check in and out really easy.
Breakfast was fine- same each day- selection of cold meats and cheeses, yoghurts, two cereal, eggs, bread, croissants and beans.
Location wise, very quiet- about 13 min walk to Arc de Triomphe. From CDG airport we took the train to centre of Paris then another train to Arc de Triomph then walked the rest.

Stayed here during the Rugby World Cup. Rooms were clean, well serviced and functional. Staff were excellent, helpful and friendly, especially the 2 ladies on reception.. It has a small bar, is 5 minutes walk to the Metro in an area with bars and restaurants. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything we hoped from a reasonably priced three star hotel in Paris. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable. We were on the 5th floor and it was very quiet, lovely continental breakfast, room cleaned daily and staff were friendly, efficient and polite. It’s a quiet residential area, less than 10 minutes to walk to a metro and a train station. There are plenty of restaurants close by. It took us 50 mins to walk to the Eiffel Tower.

We were a party of 30 from Wales and our tour company had booked us into Hotel Magellan. We found the place very clean and well-managed. Our room was on the small side but it was ensuite with a very modern shower room. There was always plenty of hot water. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows and linen were of high quality. Breakfast was fine with good coffee and a wide choice of foods available. For the price we paid this hotel was excellent.

Great hotel for the price. In a wonderful area with some great places to eat nearby. Can walk into the city in less than an hour through gorgeous residential areas. We had a nice room at the end of the corridor, 101 which had a balcony, would def recommend this room. Only complaint was that water wasn’t replenished daily. Otherwise the hotel was spot on.

We stayed here just for one night when we visited Paris for this New Year. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and our room was cosy and clean. The bar downstairs is actually very reasonably priced too. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely return

Dear Sir, Beauvais airport is at 84 km from the Hotel Magellan. The best way to come from this airport is to use a car or a taxi. You can use , as well, trains and metros but you will have a lot of changes and approximately 2 hours and half to travel. Best regards Hélène
