The room is small (just like any other hotel in Paris) but it's clean. Bathroom is small but it's functional. We moved a table in the room to make space to open our suitcase. We had a street facing room but did not find street...More
The location is better than wonderful and the hotel is super neat. A little cozy but considering the location and the high demand of space in Paris it was SUPER. The attention was good but as always it depended on the person.
We stayed one night in this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was small and not as nice as I had hoped. The neighborhood was a little noisy. Overall if you're looking for a budget hotel this is not a bad...More
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel but it wasn't wonderful. The rooms are small and rather old looking, however they are extremely clean. The bed was uncomfortable and sagged towards the middle. The location was okay. We were near many shops and restaurants but...More
The only reason I booked this place even though it was a bit pricey was because it was in central Paris. I do not know whether it was the dispassionate and quite unhelpful guys at the reception we encountered on both the days or the...More

Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and
just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.

Dean. I have been to this hotel for several vacations with my last visit this past May. If you are on the RER and arrive at Gare du Nord you can easily continue on several different subway routes. Either continue on the RER B or D to the Chatelet station. From there you need to exit the station toward Rue Rambuteau. It's a couple blocks walk from this station. Head North on Rue Pierre Lescot for 2 blocks. Take a right onto Rue du Cygne. The hotel will be on the right. I suggest looking at Google Maps. Focus on the Chatelet Station. Rue du Cygne is 2 blocks North of Rue Rambuteau and 1 block South of Rue Etienne Marcel. If you are on the Metro and NOT the RER you would take the #4 train (Metro) from Gare du Nord going South toward Mairie du Montrouge (Not Porte du Clignoncourt which is the opposite direction). You should exit at the Etienne Marcel station and head down Rue Pierre Lescot one block and turn Left onto Rue du Cygne. The hotel will be on the right. Hope this helps and enjoy! Note that this hotel does NOT have an elevator and the steps are steep and narrow so be mindful if your travel with lots of bags. I love it for it's old charm.
