Everyone has already mentioned the fabulous location which is why I chose this hotel. We walked just about everywhere. I had read on TA that the rooms in Paris are generally small so I reserved a superior deluxe double for our four night stay knowing we would each have a large suitcase. Our room, #22, was still kinda small so...

We walked by Le Regent going from Notre Dame to the Louvre and picked up a brochure. We have recommended it to friends but this is the first time we have stayed here. The regular rooms are tiny and the courtyard is more of an alley but the hotel is exquisite and the location superb. Cafes in every direction, minutes...

If you're looking for value for money, this is the place for you. It recently added new laundry facilities and additional space for dining. Included breakfast package was good. Rooms were equipped with hair dryers, a sink and the bath towels. However, rooms were a tad too small for my liking, and if you do get a room facing the...

We'd stayed at the hotel for 8 nights in the Superior Deluxe room. Plenty of room for two - bathroom a nice size as well. The room was very clean. The only negative that we would have is that the room had 2 twin beds put together to make a double. We could hear the cars (in the background) when...

We stayed for one night and were very pleased. Everything was spotlessly clean. We were in a deluxe room which was quite small but the bathroom was a good size. We were on the street side so it was a little noisy but had a very sweet balcony. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The location...

What a charming boutique hotel,in the heart of Saint Germain, close the city main attractions. The bedroom and bathroom are massive and very very comfortable. There are many restaurants and cafe nearby. What I really like what this hotel is that is very cozy!!!

The rooms were charming and clean with gorgeous windows overlooking the street! The location cannot be beat...it is in the heart of our favorite section of Paris. So close to the St. Germain shopping...fabulous cafes...wonderful restaurants...and excellent sights (Notre Dame, etc...). You must have a charming breakfast in their lovely downstairs room... Love, love, loved it!

this is my second stay with hotel le regent and i wanted to add my review to the other positive ones on trip advisor. I love this hotel for several reasons; it is near everything in Paris that you need to see (steps to the Louvre, Notre Dame, Cluny, Seine riverboats, etc.),it is just across from the wonderfully French Rue...

This was our second stay at the hotel and it was as good as last time. OK the rooms are small (but so were all the other rooms we have stayed in in Paris - some smaller than this one!) Location is 500 metres from the metro Odeon on the Bld. St Germain with plenty of restaurants of all types...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
