Our room was lovely, quiet, efficient and very clean, although a bit on the small side. Bathroom was large, very modern, clean and ours had a large soaking tub . We were on the 2nd floor facing the street. Based on some reviews I was nervous about street noise. We experienced barely any noise. Very quiet for sleeping, yet wonderful...

I have stayed here several times over the years with my family but after this year's 2-night stay last week, I doubt I will stay there again. We had booked 2 luxury rooms for my husband, me and our son. We had to cancel my son's room (which we did within the time delays) but when we checked in, at...

+ hotel is located at the very heart of saint Germaine. 2 min away from the metro and surrounded by restaurants and cafes. + friendly staff + clean - rooms are very small and stuffy,as air condition was not working and the heating could not be controlled. - Our room was facing the street which was quite noisy, so if...

We booked 2 standard rooms for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Rooms were small but adequate for our needs. Hotel very clean and staff helpful. They were having the stairs re decorated at the time but they did e mail is about this and it made no difference to our stay. The location is great, easy to walk to many...

Hotel Le Regent is a small boutique hotel, with very helpful staff, located beautifully two blocks from the Seine. Great local restaurants, shops and street stands just outside the door. Enjoy!

Stayed in a superior room in the front of the hotel. Reasonable size room (for Paris!), clean, well equiped and well decorated. Hotel staff very friendly, very relaxed atmosphere, breakfast in tiny cellar excellent. Great location on Rue Dauphine, a few minutes walk to the Seine or Boulevard St Germain. Only drawback was street noise in the night - cafes...

We loved staying here. It's in the midst of the St. Germain area: near the boulevard, just off the Rue de Buci open marketplace, easy walk to the river. We got a pretty room, spacious and airy, with 2 twins that you could push together to form a king bed. Wanted a street view, made sure we wouldn't be looking...

Ok, well I will premise my feedback with my scenario: I am an American who travelled to Paris for the first time with my wife. We got a Deluxe room (#42) for 7 nights and primarily chose Le Regent because of the stellar feedback on Tripadvisor. It was a great trip but we only used the hotel to sleep in...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
